Our Review of the BOB Stroller Strides Duallie double stroller

BOB designed the Stroller Strides Duallie Double Stroller specifically to compliment Stroller Strides, a nationwide stroller exercise program for moms to do with their babies. A Stroller Strides workout combines strength training, power walking, and floor exercises. The point is to keep moms moving and kids entertained while safely strapped into their stroller.

Stroller Strides is a great workout that has been gaining attention all over the USA. It's a great way for new moms to get back into shape without having to leave their baby behind. To read more about the benefits of the Stroller Strides post-natal exercise program, visit www.StrollerStrides.com.

The BOB Stroller Strides Duallie double stroller is the BOB Revolution Duallie with this package of extras:

  • Convenient handlebar console
  • Tension tubing for resistance exercises
  • Stroller Strides exercise manual
    • Includes Stroller Strides coupons

The BOB Stroller Strides Duallie is a significant modification of the original BOB Duallie design, geared toward urban dwellers that need a maneuverable and durable stroller that is also good for jogging. The Duallie provides a fully rotating, 12-inch front swivel wheel that locks into a fixed position better control while jogging or during off-road use. The front swivel wheel of the Revolution Duallie has a unique mechanism to help maintain balance and a straight roll while locked into the fixed position.

The Only Swivel Wheel Double Stroller with Adjustable Tracking

Most strollers with swivel wheels have the option of locking forward, but they usually have too much play ('wiggle room') to be any good as a jogging stroller. The Stroller Strides Duallie is the exception to the rule. The adjustable tracking allows you to get a solid push that rolls straight. The unique tracking adjustment mechanism keeps the jogging stroller from veering, which saves you from having to constantly push back to balance out your course.

With inboard rear wheels and measuring just shy of 31" wide, the Stroller Strides Duallie maintains a low profile and fits easily through standard doorways, making it an excellent double stroller for urban use. The individually reclining seats are foam lined, generously padded, and recline to a nearly flat position. There is a large underside basket for storing your stuff and integrated pockets and cupholders in the seating area to keep your kids hydrated and occupied.

In addition, the Revolution Duallie has individual sun canopies so both of your passengers get the shade they want. Both seats feature 5-point harnesses for rider security, and the fabrics are entirely removable and washable.

The BOB Stroller Strides Duallie is narrow enough to fit easily through standard sized doorways, so have no fear about taking it to the market or mall. Last, but certainly not least, it is extremely easy to fold up, and compact enough when folded to fit easily into your trunk.

To make your Stroller Strides Duallie into a car seat compatible travel system stroller, check out the BOB Double Car Seat Adaptor.

Bottom Line: Joggers, power walkers, and other fitness minded parents in need of a versatile double stroller need look no further than the BOB Stroller Strides Duallie. Even though it doesn't come out of the box with many bells and whistles, there is a full line of BOB accessories available that expand your possibilities. It combines all the best elements of a fixed-wheel jogging stroller with the best swivel wheel mechanics on the market today, and it's one of the lighter double strollers available today.

Love this stroller

Have had this stroller for several weeks now and really enjoy it. It has made several trips exercising and out in trips. We went to the zoo And easily fit through doorways. The stroller easily did a 360 turn which is helpful in a tight spot. While exercising it has been great. My children are different ages and weight bit it did not pull to one side. I'm currently using the infant attachment and it works great. Minimal bounce. Large sun shades. 2 cup holders. The negatives are that it is hard to transfer because of weight and it doesn't latch shut. It also doesn't fit through all doors. Fits my front door but not my garage door. Overall I would recomend this stroller.

A must have for busy moms

We are currently living in Mexico...And I depend on my nice stroller to walked my girls to school. I had the "Dreamer Design" double stroller, witch was falling apart (just a cheaper version of the BOB duallie) but I am glad I finally got the real deal, trust me you will be happy to get this beautiful stroller, after the first ride, my oldest daughter 6y/old (40.lbs) kept on saying Mom this one is very comfortable, compared to the last one, and my 3y/old(25.lbs) seems happy too, and also it is way lighter and easier to push than the Dreamer Design (like 2 to 3 lbs lighter), I don't even feel the combined weight of my girls. Your pocket might be hurt (almost 600 dlls), it is quite expensive, but at the end you will be happy you got a nice product, I can only regret I didn't get it before.

This is the best stroller ever! It handles great and I can't tell you how many compliments I get, a lot of "I wish this stroller was out when I had my two kids." The most important thing about the BOB Stroller Strides Duallie stroller is that my 6month old and two year old are comfy in this stroller and my husband loves it too. It has gotten us all out of the house more. You can read and compare the features yourself but I love that it is so versitle and I can take it any where and use it for any situation. I have taken it to softball games, doctors offices, the mall and of course walks around town, you name it BOB is right alng with us. I just can't say enough about it. It is a little big even folded but I haven't found a car yet that it doesn't fit in to.

We consider BOB part of the family!

I had tried out this stroller while I was pregnant with my third child. My second and third are 16 months apart and I do a lot of walking in addition to attending my oldest son's soccer games and needed a stroller that would handle well on various types of terrain (asphalt, gravel, grass). My husband balked at the price at first, but he is an engineer and once he tried one out, he was sold. He got a bonus from work and the stroller arrived 2 days after our son did! We walk a couple of miles as a family twice a day and we love this stroller. The kids are comfortable and the stroller pushes like a dream and we've tested it on about every surface you could use it on. The sun canopies provide great coverage as well as a barrier to protect my youngest from his feisty older sister when needed. The storage basket is large enough to tote all of our stuff and that is no small feat! We've taken it to the mall and other shopping centers and it easily fits through the doors. We bought the car seat adapter and it worked GREAT with our Graco Snugride while we were using it. The ONLY downside I can think of is that it IS bulky when folded up, but hey, that is the nature of a double stroller. My husband and I joke around when we get in the car and call out all of our kid's names to make sure we have everyone. BOB is such a member of our family that he's now on the "roll call!" :)

BOB Revolution Duallie Double Stroller

We have a collection of strollers, but this Duallie stroller was the best we've had. I love to run and now that I have this stroller, I am able to take my two children, 4 y.o. and 21 mo. , running with me. The stroller has a nice, smooth ride, and has a very easy maneuvaribility. My children love to be in it and always look forward to running with me. It is wide but it fits through most doors. I never had a problem with doors anywhere we went. It is bulkier than other strollers, but it fits in the trunk with no problem. It takes a few attempts of opening and closing it before getting comfortable with how to fold and unfold the stroller. The large canopies provide my children plenty of shade from the sun. I would have loved to take it with me when traveling with family, but the bulk and width of the stroller prohibits this from happening. The price of the stroller is on the high side, but considering the features of this stroller, I think it was worth the buy.
