Casey and His Friends

This line of plush car seat toys known as Casey and Friends have a very special feature: they attach to your child's car seat (or stroller)! Casey, Denis the Dragon, Jill, Merlin, and Three-Step all attach to the buckle of any forward facing car seat, giving your child the impression that they are actually riding on the back of one of these charming plush animals. Look at any of the photos on this page of Casey and Friends at work and you'll see how delighted your kid will be to sit back and enjoy the ride (You might even grow a little tired of the constant galloping, barking, or fire-breathing sounds coming from the back seat).

The 5 different animal designs that Casey and Friends founder and designer Patricia Douglass has produced--Casey, Denis the Dragon, Merlin, Three-Step, and Jill--are each inspired by real animals (and one person) that had a lasting effect on Patricia's life: "Casey" was the first horse that Patricia's daughter ever rode. "Denis the Dragon" is the nickname of Irish horse trainer Denis Flannelly, whose unorthodox training methods and unmatched dedication inspired Patricia to ride better than she ever had before. "Three-Step" is the name of a young quarter-horse who helped his owner on a courageous rescue mission in the hills of California. "Merlin" the dog was the longtime companion of Patricia's friend and Natural Horsemanship trainer Anna. Finally, "Jill" was the name of a boisterous silver mare from Ireland whose strength and energy posed such a challenge to Patricia that she had no choice but to dramatically improve her riding, and communication, skills.

The plush animals of Casey and Friends attach just as easily to any stroller harness as to a car seat. Our customers have actually found Casey and Friends to be helpful in holding the seat buckle forward, eliminating the nuisance of pulling out the buckle from underneath your child every time you put them in their seat.
