The Chariot Cheetah 1, and its two-passenger counterpart the Cheetah 2, are the most stripped down of Chariot's fantastic all-purpose 'child transportation systems' (that's what 'CTS' stands for) in the X-Country family of convertible bicycle trailers.  The Cheetah has all the core features of the top-selling Chariot Cougar: a light aluminum frame, a comfortable seating area with a 5-point harness, quick release 20" wheels, and total conversion capability to one of five different functions* thanks to Chariot's one-of-a-kind VersaWing 2.0 technology.

The Cheetah 1 provides value for parents who want all the versatility and child transportation options offered with a Chariot carrier, at a price they can afford. The price difference between the Chariot Cheetah 1 and more expensive Chariot carriers is a result of the plastic mag-rims used with the Cheetah. While somewhat lighter, mag-rims are not as durable as aluminum. With a Chariot child carrier, your kids are right there with you, no matter where you go or how rough the road.    

In addition to these great features, the Cheetah's adjustable handlebar allows parents or caretakers of different heights to adjust the handle height to where it is most comfortable. The enhanced VersaWing 2.0 technology allows you to switch between one of five different CTS Kits* quickly, easily, and without the use of tools. VersaWing 2.0 provides additional ports for optional side fenders and a jogging brake for a Cheetah in jogging stroller mode.

Bottom Line: Every Chariot child carrier is a worthwhile investment. They are light, sleek, of outstanding quality, and their range of versatility is impossible to match. While the Cheetah doesn't have the sturdy aluminum rims of a Chariot Cougar 1 or the top-of-the-line CX 1, it's still a terrific convertible bike trailer.
