Our Review of the Dreamer Design Manhattan Deluxe stroller
The Manhattan series is Dreamer Design's foray into swivel wheel jogging strollers, with the 'Deluxe' versions taking up the higher end of the price and features spectrum. The Manhattan Deluxe takes the versatility of the Manhattan Lite, adds some room, some new features and fabrics, a 20 year warranty (1 year on soft goods), and comes through with a sturdy and attractive all terrain single stroller.
The Manhattan Deluxe has all the original elements that brought Dreamer Design strollers the attention they deserve, like the extra-large "bubble" canopy that can be adjusted to pretty much any position. A number of additions make the significant price difference between the Deluxe and Lite series merely a question of value.
Bottom Line: The best way to describe the Manhattan series is as "all terrain strollers". The swivel front wheels used can be fixed in place, to allowing you to push your stroller over rugged terrain more easily, but a 12" swivel wheel is best suited for parents who will primarily be negotiating the neighborhood, traversing city sidewalks, or maneuvering the aisles of a shopping center. If you are a serious runner, you won't get the control and smooth suspension you'd find with the 16" fixed front wheel offered with the Rebound Deluxe .

Not Impressed At All, Shoddy Construction

Wow, that definitely sounds like a product defect to me! Dreamer Design is a middle of the road stroller - a step up from Instep's and Schwinn's, and not quite the quality of a BOB or a Baby Jogger - but definitely well made enough that the straps shouldn't be ripping out. I would contact Dreamer Design, and ask that the stroller be replaced for you. If you purchased the stroller through us, give us a call, and we'll contact them for you.
