Not for Tall Children

I think this double is a great value. It pushes easily, is super light and looks really nice. However, buyer beware, the seats are very short, so tall children will not fit (children taller than 38 inches). There is no leg rest to speak of, so my toddler's legs were dangling over the side. Also, there is no separation between the seats and the seats are so reclined (even in most upright position - which is not very upright), that my toddler would elbow my newborn to try to get out of the stroller. The canopy's protection is minimal so you will need an additional sunshade accessory. Finally, the stroller is wider than 30 inches, so it will not fit through some doors. I sold mine and got a Baby Jogger City Classic and have been way happier with that purchase even though it was more expensive.

Very short and bad seats

The stroller is super short. I'm 5'8" and the handle bar hit below my hip. I tried it out and my back was out the next 2 days- not a good thing with 2 little ones. Also the seats in the most upright position are still really reclined. Both my girls (3 years and 10 mths) were uncomfortable. Also the footrest was way to high, my 3 year old's knees were up high and she couldn't sit comfortably. The stroller has such great potential if they would just make it so the seats could be put in a full upright position and the handle bar would be higher then it would be a great stroller. Thank goodness for return shipping insurance and I still bought another stroller from this website because it is so awesome and helpful. I recommend it all the time.

Perfect for short runners!

We had to sell ours almost brand new ONLY because I am 5'8" and the handlebar is too low for jogging...It is a dream to turn. You must fix the wheel if you go at all fast, but we used ours for jogging so naturally had it fixed all the time (on the single model we jogged with it on swivel perfectly!). We run everyday 2 or 3 miles, not too fast. The sunshade, like nearly all joggers, doesn't work unless it's noon. So, just buy a
sun add on like we did, if you cannot afford a high-end stroller. My almost 2-year-old is 36", and I have a 6-month-old. The baby fits very well with the cute headrest and padded straps. Her legs can rest on the seat; it's that good! My toddler fits fine as well, without the infant headrest of course. The only cons are similar to any jogging stroller: the toddler can poke the baby , it is heavy to lift (but it locks!), it is somewhat heavy to push two kids any way you look at it without getting an expensive jogger with huge wheels, there are no separate footrests which might be a little too cozy once both their feet reach the footrest. Again, perfect and beautiful colors! The rose is a lovely pink. It's great for trips where you need an all-terrain vehicle. You can put it in the trunk fairly easily without taking it apart. The bug screen attaches in 2 seconds and covers both kids fully, without any bulk or slack. You can barely see the bug screen, which is a great feature! A+ for summer runs. Instep, why oh why didn't you make a height adjustable handle? The handle is the shortest on the market. My husband is 6'4"!

Excellent Double!

We purchased the Instep Safari Double Stroller 2 years ago and it's been wonderful. We take it everywhere with us, on all sorts of terrain, and it pushes and steers effortlessly. We use it pretty much every day! My 4 1/2 year old son is 50 lbs and 48" tall and my 2 1/2 year old daughter is 32 lbs and 36" tall. They can relax comfortably together. Great storage, very sturdy, 5 pt harness seatbelts, removable safety bar, and we really love it! Even if I'm just taking one child out, I'll still take the double over our single. We haven't had any problems with it in the 2 years we have owned it. It's one of the best purchases we have made!!

I love this stroller

This stroller has been the best for me & my girls; ANY side-by-side double stroller is too wide to get through stores, etc... so the size of this stroller has been appropriate for its surroundings. Running is so smooth with this particular stroller and it turns like a dream - i LOVE it!!!

Instep Safari Double
Reviewer: Mrs. Eckard ,

Just wanted to say that we love our new Instep Safari Swivel Double stroller. I have 2 older girls, 4 and 1 year. They are above average in height and weight, so together they weigh about 70 pounds. We live in Londond, England and need a good get around stroller. This has been a god send for me. I didn't want to spend too much money, and this is great for the price, easy on the back, and I've actually managed to jog with it as well. The model that I received doesn't have a net pocket on the back, so storage is an issue. A friend of mine has an older model and it has the net pocket plus under the basket storage. No biggie. Also, the outside is NOT as weatherproof as I was lead to believe, but we have a weather cover already. Overall, VERY happy with this purchase!
