Sunny days!

If you have a child under 2, and sun is a concern while you are out and about, this product could be useful. Note that after age 2 a child's feet are likely to kick at the cover because it hugs the footrest (though you might have a child who won't do that). The baby can see out of the mesh. He/she won't have the best view out (like with regular mesh), so some children might not go for that. Also, neighbors can't easily see in to coo over your child. Because this mesh protects from sun, those design features are necessary. It also functions as a bug net. I find that I only want a bug net in the evening (when there is little sun), so having this two in one design is not useful for me. I'd prefer regular black mesh. It is full coverage all around the front, but be sure to pull down the velcro flaps in the back of the stroller. This prevents bugs from coming in the back, but it's not 100% bug-proof, as it's simply a flap (though a decent one). The cover does require you to bend down and tie some hoops, then pull very tightly over the sun canopy. The installation could be easier. My two toddlers (3 and 1) wouldn't sit still for me to install this. If you do have a young baby and are out in the sun, though, it's wise to do what it takes to protect delicate skin. Note that the regular sun canopy on this stroller is very good, though. Low evening/morning sun are all that tend to get through it.
