  • New for 2008: Tons of New Color Choices and Fabrics

The Peg Perego Pliko P3 Stroller and the Primo Viaggio car seat are the two components that form a complete travel system. Alone, the Pliko P3 is fully loaded. Brakes, four wheel suspension, and swiveling wheels create a smooth ride. The five point harness supports and restrains your child and the front bar doubles as a tray for toys or snacks. There are a few notable features in addition to all of the standard ones.

First of all, the Pliko P3 is designed for really easy transportation. A central handle makes it easy to collapse and carry. Plus it's free standing when collapsed, which is extra convenient. The backrest reclines completely and the footrest adjusts to three different angles.

One unique feature of the Pliko P3 is the 'toddler step' on the rear that gives your older child a place to stand and ride when they get tired of walking. (Just remember, the max weight capacity of the P3 is 45 lbs.)

With your comfort in mind, there's a cup holder and height adjustable handles. There's a storage basket underneath the seat - although we've heard complaints that its too small to fit the standard diaper bag.

The Pliko P3 uses the "G-matic" automatic attachment system for convenient compatibility. The back of the P3 folds down flat to accomodate the Primo Viaggio SIP infant car seat. When you combine the P3 with the Primo Viaggio SIP you get a comprehensive travel system . . . combining convenience with style in a way that is very hard to beat.

Picture this: You're strolling around downtown doing some last minute shopping. Joe junior finally falls asleep. But you've gotta get home - get dinner started / make a few business phone calls / pick up Jenny from practice / straighten the house up / walk the dog around the neighborhood. With the Ganciomatic travel system, sleeping Joe can go from stroller to car, into the house, back into the stroller, or into the car again. And you can't put a price on that!

The Pliko is a quality stroller - ample features, superior fabric, good engineering. What sets the Pliko apart is that it is the versatile and convenient travel solution.

UPDATE...

Reviewer: Anonymous , OC Date: May 13, 2008
i ended up returning the pliko and getting a bugaboo but now we sold it....just too impractical for the car and a waste of $$. My baby was getting big for it at 7 months! So we are now getting the pliko for the car (errands, mall, traveling etc) and a bob revolution 12" for home (walking the dog, park, jogs etc). I think the pliko is GREAT for inside type things and for traveling since it folds up so small. It is NOT the best for walking outside, the wheels are too small. Pros: amazing hood, comfy seat, nice fabrics.

Perfect stroller

Reviewer: hillary wald , aliso viejo, ca Date: January 18, 2008
I ended up with a pliko after a peg centro and a quinny buzz. the buzz was just way to heavy (35 lbs!!) and a pain to take apart to throw into the car. It is SO wide that i was always running into things. back to the pliko- it's light, folds tiny, great fabric, amazing sunshade (if you zipper off the back part you can use the canopy in any angle to block the sun), good sized basket, toddler tray, I could go on and on! I don't feel like i'm pushing a bus with it either, the handles give you great control. Love our pliko! We got the mod blue :)

I love this stroller

Reviewer: momof3 , maryland Date: October 29, 2006
I bought the stroller and car seat when I was pregnant with my third child. I had a Emmejunga stroller with the others -- I loved it, but it was heavy, hard to close and hard to fit in the trunk of my car. The Pliko is perfect! Easy to push, easy to open and close, lightweight and cleans beautifully. This stroller is definitely worth the money.

A must for every stroller fleet

Reviewer: Lori , Washington Date: June 24, 2006
I love strollers but always had a hard time finding the perfect one. Until I found the Peg P3. This stroller is lightweight, easy to open and close, has a large basket (for an umbrella stroller), plush seat, beautiful Italian fabric, child snack tray that opens for easy access to your child, reclining seat, large sun canopy, adult cupholder, and the best feature is a toddler step for when an older sibling, or friend, is tired of walking. I have found the perfect single stroller in the Peg Perego Pliko P3.

BEST stroller I ever bought!!!

Reviewer: Cathy , Shakopee, Mn Date: June 24, 2006
I absolutely LOVE this stroller. This is the 2nd Peg Perego stroller that I have bought. I bought the first one 8 years ago and just wanted a new one for my 3rd baby. My neighbor has my old one and loves it as well. They last! My new one is so smooth. After we had our baby, my husband and I were shopping and he even commented on how light it was to push! EASY to fold down- lightweight- folds down to a compact size-and NO screaching tires! The basket is a decent size and I love the rings to clip on a diaper bag! The hood goes down all the way to cover baby if needed. I loved the stroller with the infant car seat as well. The seat fit snug in the stroller so I felt like it was safe.

All in all, worth the money!

Stroller is Great

Reviewer: Anonymous , Raleigh, NC Date: June 16, 2006
My mom bought us the Pliko P3 Classico and the Link in same window: Primo Viaggio for our second child. We had the Graco travel system for our first and found it to be cumbersome and heavy. This Peg Perego has been great! The only problem we've experienced is when trying to use the Primo Viaggio with it. It can be very tough to get the car seat to 'click in' to the stroller. At first I thought it was just me, but my husband had the same trouble. We practiced without the baby in the seat, but it wasn't a whole lot easier. Now that the baby is bigger and rides in the stroller facing forward, I can't say enough about the stroller. It's great! I do find the same difficulty that others have mentioned with accessing the basket, but I use a diaper bag with the two loops attached to the handles, and then everything I need to access is right at my fingertips.

Great Stroller

Reviewer: Mom of 2 angels , Pocatello, Idaho Date: May 27, 2006
I purchased this stroller as a travel stroller to fly with and to leave in my SUV. We just returned from a trip to Disneyland with our 4 year old and 8 month old. The stroller was wonderfull from the minute we used it. My Graco Snugride carseat fits in the stroller very securely. The stroller pushes very nicely with my 8 month old in the front and my 40 pound 4 year old on the back standing.

We navigated through the crowds of Disneyland with no problems. My 4-year old dressed up like Ariel mermaid for dinner one night and we had her stand on the back of the stroller to get to dinner in California Adventure and people commented that she looked like she was riding on a "Chariot." She enjoyed riding both in front and on the back.

The great thing about this stroller is, even with my 40 pound daugher riding, either in front or stand in on the back, it still pushed and turned very nicely.

We own 4 strollers total. This one is by far my favorite for travel and to keep in the car. It is very compact compared to my Graco and very stable compared to my Combi travel stroller. I still use my Inglesina Magnum for walks from home because of the big air filled wheels.

Over all the Pliko 3 is a wonderful stoller with being lightwieght, compact, stable, a smooth ride and both of my children can ride without compromising anything.

Definetly worth the money. I wished I would have purchased this before I bought the Graco and Combi. It combines the smooth ride and stability of the Graco with the compactness of the Combi. Overall the "complete stroller."

Best stroller

5
Reviewer: Chaundra Haynes , Detroit, Michigan Date: March 11, 2006
Despite what the site says the Britax Companion infant seat does fit the Pliko P3 Classico. The stroller is lightweight, beautiful and easy to use. For our first child we wanted the best and we got it. I highly recommend this stroller. It is so much better than that bulky Graco travel system not to mention it's classier..

Comments from EliteCarSeats.com:

I'm glad you bring this point up. Sometimes we can't say what's true due to our litigious society we live in. Some things fit, that we can't really say fits, because the manufacturer won't let us, even though we've tried it and it seems fine. So I love when customers bring points like this out. As with anything, whether 'they' say its safe or not, use your best judgement, you're the parent. Thanks for the review Chaundra
