Our Review of the Phil and Teds Pannier Bags

Phil and Teds Pannier Bags are sold as a pair, and attach to the sides of your Phil and Teds stroller to add some storage space while you take the kid(s) out on another adventure. Much easier to access than an underside storage basket, even your kids can get what they need out of them, provided their coordinated enough.

These Pannier Bags are detachable, and can be carried by their webbed handles as an everyday bag. There is only one large pocket.

Note: These Pannier Bags do not fit the Phil and Teds Vibe Stroller.

great quality & space. matches stroller perfectly. they have a basic carry handle that works fine for bringing them in and out of the house when needed. i don't use them daily but keep one in the basket for when i need it and the other back and forth with diapers & wipes for quick changes. another great product!

This fit everything and then some of the things I had in my huge diaper bag(Eddie Bauer Quilted Manchester Tote). I find it great that I don't have to practically rip it from under the stroller and having 2 panniers is an added bonus. The are worth EVERY penny spent and I look forward to the continued use with my P&T Sport. You couldn't ask for more.

A great idea, but ...

These bags are a great concept, but they don't live up to the fantastic design features of the stroller. First of all, I could not figure out exactly where they were meant to be attached onto the stroller. They came without instructions and I couldn't find any online. Secondly, the velcro attachment is cumbersome. It requires annoying machinations with your hands to overlap the velcro between the canvas and the frame. Furthermore, I use my stroller in the car and the bags (if empty) should not inhibit the stroller from folding up, but the straps keep getting caught in the hinge. All in all, a great idea, but they really need to work on the connections. Some sort of clip that whose receptacle was on the frame would be so much more convenient. As it is I am finding them as annoying as convenient.

Easier to use than a diaper bag.

These are great for travelling with two children because we are able to have one for each child. These bags hold quite a bit and they are convenient. They don't have dividers (I don't like bags with dividers because I don't think they are as versatile anyway.) We usually pack things in ziplock bags which makes it easier to find things. The only problem that we have had is that the straps that attach the bag have come unsewn partially so I had them redone with clips that I can detach quickly because the velcro tended to wake up the baby if she was sleeping. We prefer these to a diaper bag because when we are out we usually have our buggy anyway so these make things much easier.

I don't drive and have found these invaluable for doing the grocery shopping with my toddler. It also reduces the number of plastic bags required. They are quite spacious but it is necessary to make sure that the weight is evenly distributed to make pushing as easy as possible. Well worth buying.

Pannier Bags

These bags are a good idea, because it is easier to access them than basket underneath (when carrying two children). The bags have no separate compartments, would be difficult to carry if not attached to stroller (just a small handle, no strap), and the bags are not that sturdily constructed in general. Would be worth it for about $35.00.

Comments from the Staff: They're worth it, but only for $15 less? And for that it gets a one star? They're not meant to be a strap on diaper bag, just paniers. Thanks for the comments, but we have to disagree on this one.
