Single Running & Jogging Strollers

The running and jogging strollers you see here serve a distinct purpose: to help you keep fit and enjoy the outdoors with your child. Most of these strollers have a fixed front wheel that enables the stroller to track in a straight line while jogging or running. A select few have a front swivel wheel that locks forward for exercise. If you aren't training for a marathon, a jogging stroller with 16" wheels all around will suit you fine. The best of the bunch are probably the Baby Jogger Q Series and the BOB Ironman.

However, if you ARE training for a marathon, we suggest a running stroller with 20" wheels, such as the Baby Jogger Performance Single or the Schwinn Joyrider Jogger. Some jogging and running strollers have optional car seat adapters so you can ease back into a fitness routine with brisk walks -- as soon as you're home from the hospital.*
