I use the PC Pod while working out on a C2 rowing machine. I monitor the POD with Firstbeat Softwares Athlete. I find the combination very effective for maximizing my conditioning without overtraining. I have been doing this for several years and have never had a problem with the PC Pod.

Little Miracle

I got a Suunto PC Pod to work with my T3 Heart Rate Monitor. My goal was to print a hard copy of workout data to share with a training partner. The pairing was perfect, the Training Manager Lite software is user friendly and intuitive, and my friend is impressed with the detailed reports that I can print out.
It's hard to believe that Suunto can pack all that functionality into such a little device.
I have one recommendation, the device is so small - losing it would be very easy (this revelation after discovering that the PC Pod survived a tumble in the washer and dryer in my jeans pocket). How about developing a keychain version of the device?
