Our Review of the Valco Toddler Seat Hood
If you're out on the town with two in your Valco Tri Mode, keep your toddler out of the rain or protect from excessive sunlight with the Toddler Seat Hood. The hood attaches directly above the Toddler Seat accessory, and acts as a barrier between your little guy or gal and mother nature.
Note: Stroller and Toddler Seat sold separately.
Valco Toddler Seat Hood Reviews
Better than I expected

When I originally bought my Valco Twin I did not buy this extra canopy b/c I thought it looked worthless and very similar to the canopy on the front hood of my old Graco Duoglider. I took that canopy off and stored it--never to use it again.
But a friend of mine purchased this canopy with her Valco Toddler Seat and once I saw it, I decided to get one too.
What surprised me is that there is a layer of mesh on the back side of the canopy that also provides a little extra protection and you can sort of tip the canopy forward a bit to change the degree of coverage for the child.
It's tall. My 4.5 YO and my 3 YO can ride in the toddler seat without their heads touching the top (both are skinny, skinny--under 40 lbs).
It is bulky. And I don't think you can fold the stroller with this attachment.
All in all, it's a decent product. Not necessary, but I wanted some extra sun protection for my kids, so I got it.
