Recall Notice: 2009 Burley d'lite ST and Solo ST Child Trailers
Burley is conducting a voluntary recall on the 2009 Burley d'Lite ST and 2009 Burley Solo ST bicycle trailers.
The wheel can become separated from the trailer axle. This can pose a risk of injury to the child occupant or bike rider. There has been one reported incident, although there have been neither any injuries nor any incidences of a wheel coming off while in use.
To address this issue, Burley will supply a free replacement axle kit to affected customers.
Models affected by this recall:
- All 2009 Burley d'Lite ST and 2009 Burley Solo ST trailers with serial numbers that begin with D939 or D948. The serial number is located in the rear cargo area behind the seat on the lower left rear frame tube.

- Verify that your Burley d'Lite ST and Solo ST were manufactured in 2009. This can be determined by locating the serial number on the rear cargo area behind the seat on the lower left rear frame tube. The serial number will begin with D939 or D948. The trailers also have "d'lite ST" or "solo ST" screen printed on the cover.
- If your trailer is affected, immediately stop using your trailer.
