Taking it with me for International Travel!

5
Reviewer: KC , Southlake Texas Date: September 03, 2010
I have used this stroller for about 1 year. My oldest is 3 1/2 years & 43lbs. His little brother is 13 months and 27lbs. They both fit well in the stroller and enjoy the ride. The duallie is lighter than my single jogger (not BOB) and I actually use the duallie even when I only have one child with me. We are travelling to Costa Rica for 4 weeks and I plan to take this stroller instead of another because it works so well with the kids. There is a learning curve with figuring out the straps to secure the kids etc...but once you figure it all out you will love it! I actually used it to shop in the mall and this stroller was able to fit through the doors. Not a lot of room on either side, but we did fit. Just be sure to read all the instructions to better understand how everything works if you are having some issues. There are a lot of resources on the BOB site too.

Jogging in the mall

2
Reviewer: Cathy , Wrightwood, CA Date: August 01, 2010
It is great stroller for jogging through shopping mall, but it is ridiculously dangerous out in the streets of mountain town. I hardly can control it - stroller runs so fast down the hill, that without handle brake it is tough to slow down before intersection. Very dangerous! I found it safer to use the right lane on the road, especially when there's a turn. Almost got run over when was in the left lane. To push back up the hill was a hard job. I'm in a good shape! I prefer a swivel wheel. I tried it in fixed position - It takes too much energy to keep it going straight. With one child in stroller it keeps going to one side. It is not balanced. I would recommend it only for very small children. Mine are 34" and 38" tall and their heads resting on folded canopy about a halfway, and toddler's legs don't quite fit in these stroller.

Comments from The Staff:

Thank you for sharing your experience with the BOB Revolution Duallie with us. We're so sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing. We contacted BOB and shared this information with them, and here is what they had to say:

"The BOB Revolution is our most versatile stroller which allows people to use it from casual urban areas to running and off-road. Because of the swiveling front wheel it is not possible to attach a hand brake. If a hand brake is needed due to higher speed use or hilly terrain the Sport Utility and Ironman strollers are recommended. The Duallie stroller is designed to allow for one child to sit in the stroller without affecting the performance or maneuverability of it. A feature included on all BOB strollers is the front wheel tracking adjustment. This adjustment allows the user to fine tune the alignment of the front wheel and allows the stroller to roll in a straight line. For the Revolution the tracking adjustment is silver and round in shape and is located directly below the red lockout knob. BOB strollers are designed to accommodate children up to 44? in overall height. Located on top of sun canopy is the canopy fabric gathering system, which is designed to pull the excess canopy fabric away from the taller children?s head. This will provide the additional head clearance your children need."

Thanks!

Despise it!

Reviewer: Anonymous , Colts Neck, NJ Date: May 07, 2010
Poorly constructed. The grommet (on the back of the basket) broke within 2 weeks. My children are miserable in this stroller. My 2 year old is too tall to sit without being hit in the head. Seat also too narrow. The infant seat adapter holds the car seat crooked (you must use the flimsy piece of foam provided to support the carseat). Material and buckles are very rough. My 1 year old still has to ride with a blanket behind his head to avoid painful rubs on the back of his neck and head. Snack trays are so far forward, children can't reach them. Kids can't sit up straight. They are constantly in a slighly reclined position. Here's what is good: the ride is smooth, stroller pushes and turns easily.

Comments from The Staff:

I'm so sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced with your BOB Revolution Duallie double stroller. We contacted BOB on your behalf, and here is what they had to say:

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your stroller and I will address them in the order they were noted.

On the Duallie strollers there is a red tension strap located on the underside of the seat which is designed to attach directly to the lower swing arm of the stroller. This strap acts as an additional frame component and will provide the proper tension to the center of the seat when in use. If the red tension strap is not disconnected from the swing arm prior to folding the stroller, an excessive amount of pressure will be placed on the grommets on the underside of the seat, which could cause these grommets or fabric to tear.

All BOB strollers are designed to accommodate children up to the 90 percentile of five year olds. The maximum weight capacity is 100 pounds (50 pounds per seat) for the Duallies. For all stroller models, the seat back height is 21", depth is 9", width is 13.5" and the knee to foot rest measurement is 11". Located at the top of the canopy next to the handle bar is a yellow pull cord with a cord lock. When the canopy is retracted simply pull back on this cord and lock into place, this will increase the head clearance for your child. There is also a head pad, which is located at the top of the seat. This head pad can also be adjusted to allow for additional head clearance. To increase the head pad clearance simply disconnect this Velcro strap located between the attention and warning label, pull back on the strap and reattach.

The foam block insert is designed to provide additional stability and support to the approved car seats found on BOB's website. It is important to make sure the seat of the stroller is in the most upright position. If the seat of the stroller is in a reclined position this will prevent the car seat from being supported properly and cause the car seat to sit at an angle or move while in use.

The harness systems on our strollers are designed to accommodate children as young as 8 weeks; once approved by the pediatrician. If you are standing at the front of the stroller and looking at the seat back, there is a slide buckle. This buckle will move vertically on the black strap and is designed to be adjusted as your child grows. To adjust this slide buckle simply grasp the buckle with your hand and position it to where it is level with the child's shoulders. This will help prevent the buckle from rubbing on your child's head and neck. Once the height has been adjusted you will want to readjust the straps for the proper snug fit.

To meet ASTM stroller safety standards, the BOB Infant Car Seat Adapter with Snack Tray is required to be at this height. This is to keep a child's head from becoming trapped between the seat and Snack Tray if they were to try and slide out.

The seats on our strollers are designed to sit at an upright angle of 25 degrees from vertical. This was done to allow for adequate air flow out of the seat, which is located just above the child's head. If the angle was to be increased it would cause poor air circulation, which in turn could cause the children to become to warm.

For additional information on the proper adjustment of the harness system or adjusting the canopy and head pad for taller children simply consult your owner's manual or you can find the owners manual found on our website at:

Great Traveling Stroller!

Reviewer: Anonymous , Hohenfels, Germany Date: July 27, 2009
We have taken our kids in our BOB Revolution Dualie all over the world. Our stroller has gone to Russia, Turkey, Norway, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The US and many more... I have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old (and another on the way) and I truly love this stroller. I have great pictures of traveling with this stroller which would be a great advertisement for BOB. We have seldom had any issues traveling with this stroller and have traveled hard over the past two years with it. You can't beat this for a double stroller and it has made our experiences incredible and much easier for our children! Thank you!

Hands Down Worth the $$

5
Reviewer: Steve L. , Chagrin Falls, OH Date: June 15, 2009
Expensive? Chunk of change? Oh yea - it hurt when we bought this thing, especially with some extras. But it has been worth it and more. Goes anywhere! We took it to the Smokey Mountains National Park - pushed 4! kids through some trails (2 in seats; 2 in foot holders). Worked great. Kids all love it. Plus, the material ripped once. Bob sent us a brand new cover, which is basically everything but the frame and wheels. Yes, it's a bunch of money, but compared to other strollers, it's also the best and will last forever (we have three boys and they beat on it, and in two years, no more rips).

Reviewer: Tara , Libertyville, IL Date: April 18, 2009
I've wanted this stroller for over 2 years when I found out that I was pregnant with #2. I just had #3 a few weeks ago and just got it! I knew that I would love this stroller. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that unlilke what I've read, you CAN tell that you are pushing a lot of weight. I had both of my sons in it for a total weight of 70 pounds and I could certainly tell that I was pushing something!! Minor complaint because I was pushing 70 pounds! My 3.5 year old was TOO big for it, but begged to sit in it anyway - he's tall for his age. He loved it even though he looked uncomfortable. I really bought it for my two younger ones. Haven't jogged with it yet, but will once the weather gets better around here. Overall, even though I JUST got it, I'm happy that I made this purchase. I'm looking forward to spending time outdoors with my children. Joggingstroller.com is AWESOME!! The stroller came in 2 days which was super cool! Gotta love free shipping!! Way to go joggingstroller.com!

Great Stroller

Reviewer: Anonymous , Scarborough, ME Date: March 20, 2009
Shopped for months to try and find an affordable double stroller that would last. After reading many reviews, we finally decided to spend much more than anticipated and purchased the BOB. I love it! The ordering process was simple and our new stroller arrived in days. I put it together myself in about 15 minutes. It rides very smooth, and the kids seem to be very comfortable. My son is 30 lbs. and my daughter 12lbs. and the stroller feels very balanced.

THIS STROLLER ROCKS!!!

Reviewer: Nadine , Tiburon, CA Date: March 13, 2009
I bought this stroller after having a disasterous experience with a different double stroller whose company has since gone out of business. I was reluctant to buy the BOB at first because of the cost but I would have saved myself a lot of grief if I had just sprung for it in the first place. I have two year old twins and the ride is so comfortable for them as well as me. They have a ton of leg room. It fits easily into the back of my van and is also very easy to travel with. This stroller is narrower than the other two double strollers I have owned, making trips to the store a joy rather than a nightmare! I would recommend this stroller in a heartbeat. It is worth every penny.

Liberated by BOB!

Reviewer: Amy C , Newnan, GA Date: January 06, 2009
We are so thrilled with this stroller. We were very hesitant to get it at the price, but I believe we got what we paid for. We have a 2 y/o and a 9 m/o and they seem so comfortable in this stroller. The suspension provides a smooth ride; the harnesses keep them secure & comfortable and are easy to adjust, and the sun shade is actually totally effective! The dual seats keep them stable (and help keep them from bickering, though they can still see each other) and recline easily. My son woke up after a walk and I started to help him out and he said "no!" and went back to sleep - must have been very comfy! I can take this stroller nearly everywhere, even to larger stores. In retrospect, this was insane, but we even pushed it up Stone Mountain (only had to carry it over a few spots)! It has space to carry all the gear we needed for the day - water bottles, a small diaper bag, camera, snacks, toys, etc. It IS big-I have to take the wheels off to put it in the trunk but they pop on and off quickly, but are very secure when attached. It fits through our front door, but not the back. It folds easily, but still has a large footprint. I find it awkward to lift, and a little awkward to open/set up. It pushes straight, though there is a tracking adjustment if it pulls and also the wheel can swivel or lock straight. We also bought the console, which is a must, and the sun/wind/bug shade (also very useful). As a side note, we got an off-brand shade by accident and were not happy with it, so we exchanged it for the BOB version and it fits great and goes on easily. I wish these items were included in the stroller purchase. The built-in canopies have nice viewing windows with a flap to cover them in bright sun. When using the sun shade, though, I can't see the boys from above. The way the foot area is constructed, it does a good job of catching any toys the kids drop, especially with the sun shade attached. I am 5' 4" and my husband is 6' 3" and we can both push it comfortably. It is heavy, but is soooo easy to push and turn! The brake is well-designed and latches easily and securely with your foot. I have found occasions on hills where I wish it had a hand brake - I have to work to hold it back, but I feel more secure that it has a wrist strap to keep it from getting away. The materials seem very durable and well-constructed. We got Mesa Orange, and I love the color! I also love that it and the sun shade have little reflectors. I'm so jazzed about this stroller. I've felt so tied down as far as having two little ones and trying to get some exercise to burn off the baby fat, but with this stroller I can walk/jog anywhere in most weather because my guys ride together happily and the stroller is so easy to handle. We were given a tandem stroller, with one seat in front of the other, and I could barely turn or push the thing - it was awful! I just can't say enough good stuff about this stroller!

Great Stroller, Steep Price

Reviewer: Anonymous , Portland, OR Date: January 04, 2009
I was exceedingly hesitant to buy this stroller due to the cost and the lack of (necessary in my opinion) accessories included. My infant and 3 year old enjoyed their first few runs in it. I am giving three stars because my 36 month old does not have much head clearance and such an expensive stroller should include at least a parent console if not also a weather shield. Given the opportunity again, I would still probably purchase this stroller as I feel it is the best double jogger on the market.

Worth the money!!

4
Reviewer: Anonymous , Chicago, IL Date: December 24, 2008
The BOB was recommended to me by a friend who didn't hesitate to pay this kind of money for a stroller, but I was skeptical. It's a stroller, afterall, but I am completely happy with it. It glides easily...my husband even raves about how easily it moves! We purchased the carseat attachment which was easily installed and we have had no problem inserting our Graco Snugride..the foam block is unneccesary for our model. The seats are deep, but my 16-month old son can reach the cups just fine. I wish the cup holder were a little bigger because it doesn't fit the cup we use, but I'm not dropping points for that reason. It does fold up easily, but I agree with how difficult it is to pick up and put in the car. I have an SUV and it is awkward to get into the back since it doesn't lock into it's fold-up position and the strap thing isn't worth the hassle. The wheels have to be removed to put in the trunk of my husband's car, but they pop on and off with a pin..very easy. It does fit through regular doorways, but I had to try it to believe it...it doesn't look like it will. It is wonderful and totally worth the money just for comfort and ease..you sort of have to keep up wtih the stroller! We joke that Bob is a part of our family because he goes everywhere with us and cost more than we paid for our children (hospital bills), but worth every penny!

A Saving Grace for a Twin Mom

5
Reviewer: twin momma , Huntington Beach, CA Date: December 23, 2008
I had a hard time convincing myself to buy this stroller because of the price but it is worth every penny and more!!! I began using this stroller when they were three months old (with a towel folded under their bums) and the straps hold them in nice and tight. It turns on a dime. I can steer with one hand and drink coffee with the other which is unheard of with a tandem stroller. The seats are comfortable, the canopies are individual and provide excellent sun coverage. The seats recline, not flat, but far enough that my girls sleep very comfortably. I can easily see them through the clear "roof". It is light and is easy to load/unload into the car. I have been able to get this through every door I have tried and find that maneuvering in shops is much easier than expected. Even though my tandem Graco is narrower, it is so hard to steer that is it no more maneuverable. We take daily walks over sand, dirt trails, and concrete sidewalks with great ease. I take it rollerblading (Bob does not recommend this) but it works great. I am 5'9" and do not have to stoop to push my BOB like I do with my other strollers. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stroller!!

Worth the $$$

Reviewer: Anonymous , Comanche, TX Date: November 30, 2008
So far I love the BOB Revolution Duallie. It turns on a dime, is very easy and comfortable to push, has good storage, and isn't too terribly heavy considering the size. My only negative thoughts would be: (1)After only a few uses it got three flat tires. We had to fill the tubes with slime- this has helped so far. (2) The ride is not as smooth on the dirt (caliche) road as I had hoped even with the car seat attachment. I'm sure it will be fine when my daughter gets older. Right now going over the rocks shakes her around more than I like at 3 months old. We are sticking to pavement till she is older- which is VERY smooth. She looks around a little and then goes straight to sleep! I would also highly recommend joggingstroller.com- excellent service!

Excellent buy!

Reviewer: Anonymous , Hinsdale, IL Date: November 04, 2008
I purchased this stroller a month before I had my fourth daughter and I love it! I was very reluctant to buy another stroller however with four kids under the age of 6 I needed a reliable double stroller. I am so pleased with the BOB. I can actually fit all four of my kids on it and I use a Kiddy Board attaced as well. It is perfect for us. It almost seems to push itself at times, much better than a tandem Graco we used to have. I would definitely recommend this stroller to anyone. Another great thing about the stroller which I love and everyone (who doesn't have a BOB) comments on is the fact that it has separate sun shades for the two seats. This is a HUGE benefit especially with a newborn that sleeps all the time. Also, for the newborn I just put in a cushie seat insert (the one i use in the car seat) so she fits a bit more snug.

if it is possible to truly love a stroller, then i'll shout it aloud, "I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS STROLLER." this is my 2nd double stroller and my 2nd BOB (i have the single IRONMAN) and i have to say, i wish i would've bought it sooner. it is fabulous. i have a 3-year-old and a 15-month old and they are both comfy and happy in it. both seats recline so if one falls asleep, then one side can be lowered. the shades are more than adequate. it turns on a dime, fits easily through doorways and handles all types of terrain. and i think for a stroller of this size, it folds VERY easily and is not as cumbersome as i thought it would be. and, it is beautiful. don't waste your money on anything else. GO BOB!

We Love the BOB!

5
Reviewer: MJ , SLC, UT Date: September 19, 2008
We bought the Bob Revolution Duallie back when I was pregnant with our first son, already loving the BOB brand because of my husband's experience with his BOB trailer for his bike, and wanting to invest in a stroller that would grow with our family. I started walking with my son at around 3-4 months, and have loved it ever since! The swivel wheel makes walking very easy, and, now that I am running, the (very easy) front wheel locking feature makes running wonderfully easier! My friend's double stroller is a different brand, and watching her use it has made me love the BOB even more: Her boys sit right next to each other in one large seat, and the sun shade does absolutely nothing except block her view of them. The BOB's separate seats are awesome, my baby loved the reclining feature when he was littler (I put a head support in it), and the sun shade is phenomenal. He can still see everything, but the sun never reaches him. The window in the top of the shade also is nice to be able to see what he is doing. (We also bought the handlebar console, and it makes bringing water super convenient, and holds keys, cell phone, etc.) Besides ease of use, we also put the BOB to the test this year when we went to Bryce Canyon to run a race (on a bumpy trail, where the BOB did great). We decided to take it onto the Navajo Loop Trail in Bryce Canyon, and just go as far as we could, knowing it probably wouldn't be very far. WELL, the BOB was extraordinary! The trail has switch backs galore and a VERY thin walkway, and the BOB handled everything perfectly! My son had a great time, and the 5-point harness held him securely on the downhill portions! Enough Said. We absolutely love this stroller. Thanks, BOB!

In Love With BOB

5
Reviewer: Anonymous , Boston, MA Date: September 16, 2008
The BOB Revolution Duallie is my third (and final) double stroller in as many months. First I sprung for the new Phil & Teds Vibe; I would have been better off shooting myself in my own foot (double seat recline is a joke, folding w/ double seat on is a chore, and I hit the back of the seat with my knees with every step). Second I got the Valco Latitude for 2, their new light-weight side-by-side. This is a very good all-purpose double: compact with go-anywhere maneuverability, but way more features than an umbrella. However, my 20-month-old, who is off the growth-charts in height, looked like she was scrunched into a clown car, and on this one I kicked the parking brake foot pedal with every step (ok, so I'm taller than the average mom). I had resisted the BOB Duallie at first because it is so big; I don't have a garage so I need to stroll it in and out my front door every day, and I drive a Camry. Despite this, it turns out that "big" is exactly what I needed. My toddler is comfortable, the sun shades are amazing, the harnesses are easy to adjust and go super small if needed, and it is a dream to push. I've even started mixing some jogging into my daily walks! I admit that it is a bit cumbersome when folded, but expecting a full-size double jogger to fold up into a neat little box you can carry with your pinkie is a bit nuts. However, if you don't have any plans for jogging or long walks on sand/snow/gravel/dirt, I would go with 12' AW - the smaller wheels will be plenty for everyday tasks and the fold is tighter. Sure no stroller is perfect for everyone, but this one (which by the way does slide through my front door even with less than perfect aim) is perfect for me and my two!

ITS ALL ABOUT BOB

5
Reviewer: Rachel Ramos , Reston, VA Date: July 08, 2008
I researched and obsessed about joggers until I was having dreams about jogging strollers. I really dreaded the price tag on the BOB Revolution Duallie; I think I spent $600 on my first car. But the fact of the matter is I use a stroller almost every day. I have two kids, 2 and 6 months, so a double is a no brainer. I don't jog so much, but festivals, zoo trips, anything outdoors is very double stroller unfriendly, so I have to have something all-terrain. I need it to be manueverable and go indoors so the swivel wheel is the only way to go. I wanted the single front wheel instead of the two like the mountain buggy and tike tech, so now we're narrowing the field to about 3 or 4 models. I tried the cheaper Expedition, but the seats have little room between the kids, and little support so I can see how they would begin to lean into each other. Also the fabric is not the same quality, so sagging is going to happen. The front foot rest is a triangle plastic thing they have to share and adds to the bulk. The steering is not as good, the storage is only so-so, and there is no suspension system, which makes a difference. Don't get me started with the canopies. But, I still wondered , "can there really be $400 worth of differences to justify this high end stroller?" We went to the one place that I could find that carries these in stock to test drive. The kids sat contentedly, and it has the opposite of all the problems I just noted with the Expedition. The INstep model (one of the only other types of doulbe joggers with swivel single front wheel) was comprable to the Expedition. Ultimately when we drove the BOB it was night and day with features, construction, durability (let's face it, these strollers take a beating in and out of the car) and we really do use it all the time and will for 2 or 3 years. Also consider that when you sell this stoller, you will get some return on that investment b/c I found NONE of these for sale used, and would have gladly paid $200 or more for a good used one. All in all, there are just some things I want quality in, and I don't miss pusing that tandem, plastic wheel monstrosity anywhere. It's all about BOB.

BMW of strollers

Reviewer: Anonymous , Noblesville, IN Date: June 05, 2008
I was very hesitant to purchase this stroller due to the cost. We have had it for 2 days and I absolutely love it. I have a 5 month old and a 2 1/2 year old. The straps are a little big on him but he is happy as a clam in there. The separate canopies are great. I do wish that it had a parent tray and feel that for the price it should include some features. Otherwise, it pushes like a dream and the turning radius is great. The tracking system for when the alignment is off is also fantastic. I had no problem folding it up and think it is quite compact for a double stroller. I would highly recommend this stroller.

A must have with two small children!

5
Reviewer: Satisfied Mom , Middletown, DE Date: April 23, 2008
I have had my BOB now for almost a year and I absolutely love it! Almost every time I go out someone has a comment about it-good that is! Most people are amazed that it fits through every door-even at the doctors office I can manage to get it in. My boys are now 2 and almost 11 months and they have plenty of room-esp. leg room. I see other double joggers and they don't give enough leg room. The individual, double canopy is great, esp. when I need to cover my younger son and my older son wants the freedom to be able to look around. It is very smooth while walking and running. We took it to the beach last summer and it worked great! How many strollers can you take to the beach? My only complaint-or suggestion for redesign- would be with the infant car seat adapter. It has the bar that the car seat rests on, but then there is really nothing to support it on the opposite end (near the actual seat/canopy). Over time, now that my son is bigger, the unsupported part of the car seat, will fall down, making my son uneven. I always need to check his position and readjust the car seat. The redesign should include another support option to help hold the car seat in place. When he was an infant, I didn't notice it as much. It is the best stroller out there and well worth the cost. Its good to invest in some of the accessories too!

Freedom

5

This stroller is my ticket to freedom in the winter months (on the decent days) with a newborn we don't get out much and this stroller protects both children from the cold with the excellent canopies. The car seat adapter is great so you can jog right away with a newborn. This is one thing I couldn't live without as a mother with two kids! It is worth the price tag!

BUY this stroller!

5
Reviewer: Rebecca Stage , Sewickley, PA Date: February 11, 2008
This is the first time I've ever reviewed a product. I can't tell you happy I am that I bought this stroller. I debated between the Phil and Teds and the BOB for weeks. I was so afraid I wouldn't fit with the side-by-side model. I even measured the doors of stores in our community. I walk everywhere with my girls and I can honestly say I'd sell my car to keep my stroller. I've yet to find a door I can't fit through, I turn on a dime in the supermarket, and it handles any bump or curb with ease. I tell everyone I know about my dream stroller and couldn't live without it. My older (2 1/2 year old) daughter's head sometimes touches the top (depending on her hairdo:-)) but it's never been an issue. I had my youngest in the stroller for walks when she was 5 days old (with a Kiddopotomus body support). It's worth every penny. Buy this stroller!

I LOVE THIS STROLLER

5
Reviewer: Anonymous , Parker, CO Date: February 09, 2008
This is the greatest stroller ever. It is super easy to push and maneuver, and my two boys love to ride in it. It is very comfortable for them with plenty of room to grow. I am a runner and I use this stroller on average five times a week to run between three and six miles. I run on asphalt, dirt trails, etc. I have put at least 500 miles on this stroller and it is still in great condition with hundreds of miles still left. I would recommend this to anyone who is wanting a tough stroller for their running or walking. You won't be sorry you spend this much money for a stroller. It is the best thing I purchased when my second was born!

BOB Revolution Duallie Double Stroller

5
Reviewer: Anonymous , Bellevue, WA Date: January 24, 2008
I own the BOB Revolution Single Stroller so when I needed to purchase a double stroller it wasn't a difficult decision. The BOB Revolution Duallie Double Stroller pushes like a dream. I can easily push and turn it with one hand and it handles beautifully on uneven terrain. I have the carseat adapter for it and have had my infant in the stroller while my toddler walked beside it and even without even weight distribution on both sides, it was fantastic! It's a bit pricey but well worth the money. My only complaint is that I wish it came with at least one accessory as I had to purchase the accessory bar and carseat adapter separately.

The Best Stroller for the price

5
Reviewer: Oded , Marietta, GA Date: December 05, 2007
I researched for long days for the best stroller to accommodate my two boys (2.8 year old and 8 month old). We also have the single bob revolution and we like it very much. We don?t jog but going for a trail in the woods with this stroller is a dream. The manual says to use the wrist strap to hold the folded stroller together. This is a bit difficult to accomplish. In addition we need to attach a strap in the bottom of the stroller when opened and detach it to allow the stroller to be folded. I don?t think a perfect stroller exists but this one is the perfect one for us and for this price.

Love my BOB!!

5
Reviewer: Alyssa , Litchfield Park, AZ Date: November 09, 2007
I absolutely love my BOB Revolution Duallie! It is a dream to push, whether walking or jogging! I've had it for 3 weeks now and I use it daily to jog with my 2 ½ year old and 4 week old baby. Before purchasing the BOB stroller I was concerned about being able to jog with an infant, but this stroller is so smooth that he doesn't bounce or move at all when I jog. I also purchased the infant seat adapter, but it turns out that I don't really need it since the seat reclines so far back. It is nice to have the snack/drink trays that came with the seat adapter, though. I have no complaints thus far with the stroller. It has exceeded all expectations and it was a great investment. Initially, my husband and I cringed at the thought of spending nearly $600 on a stroller, but after getting it we have no regrets. This stroller doesn't compare to any of the strollers we've had in the past. By purchasing the BOB stroller, this is now the only double stroller that we need. It is great for the mall with the wheel in the swivel position and it is also great for the outdoors with the wheel locked in place. I was also amazed that when I pushed only my 2 ½ year old, the stroller was still completely balanced. The only minor issue with the stroller is that it is incredibly hard to transport. When folded up, it is really awkward to lift into the car. This isn't a huge problem for me, personally, since I will mainly be using my stroller in my neighborhood and the surrounding area. I also purchased the Strollometer, the Active Tunes Stroll-A-Tune, and the handlebar console for my BOB stroller. I wish that BOB would start making a stroller that came equipped with all of these extras. I have a Jeep Overland jogging stroller that came fully equipped with a trip odometer, music-on-the-move, a weather shield, handlebar console, child tray, and an air pump. If Jeep made that exact stroller in a double I would have definitely purchased that stroller due to the convenience of all the extras coming with the stroller. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my BOB stroller and all of the accessories! I would also recommend Joggingstroller.com to anyone I know, the customer service and ease of ordering online was great!

Handles Great! really big though!

Reviewer: Anonymous , San Francisco, CA Date: October 31, 2007
The stroller handles like a BMW, but the instructions were 'strange,' it's REALLY large (I have to remove the rear wheels to get it into my Ford Escape trunk), and it doesn't always fold down when I pull on the strap they say to use. It's great for running and walking and hills, but I don't love those things mentioned.

Excellent! Just need more color choices

Reviewer: Sarah , Richmond, CA Date: September 28, 2007
I absolutely love my Revolution Duallie - and more importantly, my 2 year old and 2 month old are very content riding in it! Especially love the shocks, that it fits through doorways, the headroom, rotating wheel, and amazing coverage offered by the shades. My only complaint is that there should be a greater variety of colors available. I use my stroller EVERY DAY for LONG WALKS and would really like to be psyched about the color. Why isn't the duallie available in the striking pink/brown combo that the single comes in? It would be wonderful to have more choices than just navy or orange. Other than the limited color choice, this is a great stroller that I am very pleased with.

A dream other than the flats!

5
Reviewer: Julie , Eaton, CO Date: September 28, 2007
We researched jogging strollers for six months and inquired with several other twin parents. The overall recommendation was consistently the Bob Revolution Duallie. We do love our purchase. It is so much lighter than our Graco Tandem now that the girls are 10 months old. It is very easy to push & turns on a dime. We also purchased the stoll-o-meter & active tunes which I would highly recommend too. The active tunes works excellent with our ipod & the girls (& I!) love listening to music. Our only con is we have consistently received flats in all three tires & we haven't evey taken it on mountain trails. We have sealed them with "green slime" & still received flats. It has been frustrating not to use the stoller as much we we would like to. I was disappointed when I contacted customer service to find we would have to purchased replacement tubing. I purchased from joggingstroller.com due to the rave reviews about their customer service. I expected for the price of the stoller to not only not have this problem but for it to be remedied with no additional cost. The tube replacements are inexpensive but we have only had it for 5 weeks. We are going to the mountains this weekend & it breaks our hearts to leave "Bob" in the garage & pack up the Graco tandem. Hopefully no other consumer experiences this frustration because the overall effectiveness of the stroller is amazing: separate canopies, light weight, turns well, quality fabric, good tunes add-on. Cross your fingers our new tubing arrives soon!

Comments from The Staff:

It's SO awesome to hear that you love your BOB so much! I was really disappointed and shockedto learn that the tires had been failing (which is NOT a common problem with BOB) and that when you had called us, you didn't receive any help. That's not right, and I would love it if you let me make it up to you. I will be more then happy to get you your replacement tubes, the stroller is still under warranty, so whether you go through us or BOB, you should be able to get this fixed. Give us a call, or email us and we can get the ball rolling! Thanks again for the awesome review!

Great multi-purpose stroller

5
Reviewer: Elizabeth , Alexandria, VA Date: September 20, 2007
I have searched for MONTHS for the perfect stroller to accommodate my now 2.5 year old and 5 month old. We also have the single bob revolution and liked it so much that we knew when our second child was old enough we'd want a jogger, but plunking down the money for this was hard to swallow--I'm so glad we did. My husband jogs 3-4 times a week for an average of 4 miles each time. Our nanny and I both love this stroller for our walks with the kids. I let a friend push it and she described the push as 'like butter--so smooth'. It really is an effortless push and the turning wheel makes all the difference in being able to use the stroller in more than one setting. I put it in the back of my Hylander and it just fits without removing the wheels. CONS: I'm petite and there is nothing to 'hook' the stroller closed when folded--the manual literately says to use the wrist strap to hold it together. This is extremely difficult to accomplish as when you do the second step to fold, the wheels kind of fly out from under you and you are left to grasp both sides of the stroller. A clip of some sort would be helpful. I also find I scratch the ends of the tubes because I can't manhandle it enough during fold/unfold. Would love a double zipper on the basket or other way to fold it down and more easily access items in the basket. We take it for quick trips to the grocery (while on a run or walk) and it's difficult to fit items in the basket. I consider these cons to be minor, as it's such a great stroller otherwise. Well, I do wish the handlebar were slightly adjustable. Oh and I love that there is a nice separation between the two seats--my son doesn't wallop his kid sister like I thought he would with this style.

BOB Rev Duallie Double, Wow!

5
Reviewer: Payal , Missouri Date: September 20, 2007
I had literally stressed myself out for weeks on which double jogging stroller to buy. I, however, found comfort from the information I obtained from joggingstroller.com and the many helpful reviews. My first concern was would I really use it? I am a jogger (but have had little time to do so since the second child was born) and was a little worried about whether I would actually jog with a stroller. I think my husband (who never jogs) said it best: "This jogging stroller is so easy to use, it makes you want to jog!" We are 11 inches apart in height and have no issues with the handle bar height. We have only had it for a few weeks, and jogged only once with it (fast-walked several times), but love it thus far. It has easily become the stroller of choice no matter what we do. I am looking forward to when I can jog with it practically every day. My second concern was whether the kids would like it. Both my toddler and 10 month old seem to like it better than all previous strollers. The reclining seats and hoods are great as they are the best we have ever had. Also, the swivel wheel is a definite plus. I was going to order the handle bar console but find that I really do not need it. Folding can be a bit tricky but I think it is mainly because we have the stroller sitting unfolded most of the time and just are not used to it. Having an SUV or Minivan is helpful but the stroller fits in my sedan's trunk. Thanks jogginstroller.com for help on buying a great jogging stroller.

Made the right choice

5
Reviewer: Anonymous , Baltimore, MD Date: September 19, 2007
After several months of researching online and asking strangers about their double strollers, we decided on the double BOB duallie. We definitely made the right choice. We use it as our main daily stroller (w/ our 4 month and 3 y.o.) as well as our jogger. The swivel wheel locks tight and works great on packed gravel and dirt trails. The swivel wheel makes daily use in grocery stores and around town very easy. Love the separate canopies and reclining seats! The customer service at JoggingStroller.com was very helpful. I definitely recommend contacting them w/ any questions and ordering through them. Shipping was fast (2 days).

I Love my BOB!

5
Reviewer: Susan , New York, NY Date: September 06, 2007
I have had my BOB for 3 months now and absolutely love it! My daughter is now 3 and my son is 15 months. Their difference in weight does not affect control when pushing the stroller since it really pushes itself. We had a Maclaren Rally Twin which was good at first but as the kids grew, it became impossible to push, even on good sidewalks. We've used our BOB at our country house which has a lot of hills and rough roads. Let's just say that we get a really good workout pushing 2 kids and a substantial stroller up the hills...my husband and I often take turns pushing up each hill. On the city streets though, it really pushes itself. I have to go through doorways slowly but it turns great making it easy to maneuver around corners. I love the orange color, not that cars could really miss it b/c it is quite large but it makes me feel better that it stands out. We don't jog so I can't comment on that aspect but it is great for power walks. I love the handlebar console and I find the nets in the back and the basket very useful. Sometimes I have to take my daughter out if I need to get something large in or out of the basket but it's never really been a problem. I only wish the rain cover matched a little better, bright yellow? I also wish it wasn't sooo huge when folded. It fits in our SUV but it's heavy and a bit clucky to lift. My favorite part though is that I love the side-by-side aspect of the stroller. My kids are always entertaining each other which makes our daily walks even nicer. Overall, I would highly recommend this stroller.

Awesome all-around stroller!

5
Reviewer: JJ , Chicago, IL Date: August 29, 2007
I've been using my BOB Revolution Duallie for several weeks now and it's been amazing. It is incredibly easy to push - it feels like a feather compared to other all-terrain doubles I've owned or test-driven - both my kids love it, and even my husband had to admit it is a vast improvement over our previous double (the Valco Twin Runabout). The big question in my mind when I ordered this stroller was whether it was really possible to jog with it - I couldn't seem to find much information about this in the reviews I read. So for the record I'd like to say that yes, you CAN jog with this stroller - but I'll add a few caveats: 1) I am not a fast runner - I am very pleased with myself if I can finish an 8K in under an hour - so I can't attest to how the stroller would perform when running at faster speeds and 2) my kids are roughly the same weight, so I also can't comment on how the handling would be impacted by running with kids of 2 different weights. That being said, I've jogged with it several times so far and have been very pleased with how it's performed. A couple of other pluses: 1) although the handlebar doesn't adjust, it seems to be comfortable for people of varying heights - my 5'8" husband and my barely 5' nanny have both used it comfortably; 2) the side pockets for the kids are great; 3) it is super-easy to fold; 4) the canopies are among the best I've seen; 5) in swivel-wheel mode it's very maneuverable; 6) I haven't encountered a door yet that it doesn't fit through. Just to be fair, there are a few cons: 1) although the canopies are quite good, I wish they could adjust down just a few inches further - they're fine for my 3.5 year old but my 18 month old's eyes hit below the edge of the canopy so if we're walking/running into the sun, he still gets sun in his eyes; 2) although the basket is quite large, it's not very easy to access - all the openings are pretty narrow; 3) One of my overall frustrations with BOB strollers is that they don't come with any accessories - you'd think that for over $500, they could at least throw in one of their handlebar consoles for free. These minor issues aside, I would highly recommend this stroller, especially to anyone looking for a versitile stroller to use for both walking and jogging.

Amazing but in the end not for me

5
Reviewer: Chazz , Seattle, WA Date: August 25, 2007
I did a ton of research, drove to many different stores all over the city, to try all the top brands and basically it came down to Baby Jogger City Series Double and this BOB Revolution. BOB hands down is the easiest to maneuver/steer and has great pockets and under storage basket and it has the option for food trays (car seat adapter)and I love that it is a true jogging stroller. The Baby Jogger is also a great ride, and is just constructed better. Everything is nicer on the Baby Jogger the canopies, the seat recline, the handle bar covering (BOB is foam and unless you are only putting this in a garage it will definitely get messed up), Baby Jogger looks classier - a plus for me since this is my only double stroller, and it is a little smaller. I at first thought BOB was for me because I really wanted food trays but in the end I went with the baby jogger for these two reasons 1) BOB's canopy (even pulled up by the draw string and the seat set in the tallest position) was on my oldests head and I was afraid there was not enough room for him to grow (he is only 2 1/2 and I plan on using this stroller as my ONLY stroller for the next two years) and 2) BOB was hard to get into my trunk. I am incredibly sad to no longer have the option for food trays in my baby jogger and am also very sad to loose the child seat pockets but besides that I have been very happy with my Baby Jogger. One note about the Baby Jogger the easy one-step fold is a little deceptive - it is hard to do it in a way that does not hit you in the shins and it is not so easy to pull out of your car gracefully or otherwise - at least I haven't figured out a way in the past two weeks of taking it in and out of the car daily. Maybe one day the BOB will have better material on its handle bar and a more user friendly seat recline, canopy etc. or the Baby Jogger will create a food tray option that doesn't increase the width of the stroller - then the decision wouldn't be so hard. But until that day you just have to go with what works best for you - either way you will be able to navigate two kids in stores and off road better than you dreamed possible!!

Love the BOB Revolution Duallei!

5
Reviewer: Anonymous , Brooklyn, NY Date: August 17, 2007
I've owned about 3 strollers to date, though this is my first jogging stroller. This is the first time I've felt a stroller is excellent. My husband refers to it as our cadillac. The ride is so smooth, the stroller truly does push itself as another reviewer stated. I can push the stroller with ONE HAND with both kids inside (my 35 lb 3 yr old and 20 lb infant) (this amazes me since it took two hands to push one child in my MacClaren and it was really hard to push that stroller on cracked city sidewalks). The BOB Duallie provides a completely smooth ride. It's great for running and for city sidewalks. My kids both seem very comfy and really like it , and the pocket inside is helpful for holding toys to entertain my 3 year old. The recline is extremely easy to use and is very convenient for my often- napping infant. I love the sun hoods-they almost cover the children completely and yet they can see out enough to stay entertained! The stroller seems extremely sturdy. I have a very very narrow front doorway )about 28", so I have to fold up the stroller every time I come in and out of the house. The BOB folds very easily and though it is still large and heavy when it is folded I am very very pleased with the ease of folding and the fact that it seems sturdy enough to take this daily folding for a very long time. (I once had a Peg Perego that broke after folding it a few times so I've been burnt by this before.) A lot of people at school and on the playground have complimented me on the stroller, so it seems to pass the fashion test as well (even though that is not why I purchased it.) I also love the matching BOB diaper bag, which clips right on to the back of the stroller. It's a very nice bag and stylish as well as functional.

A near-perfect double walker/jogger

5
Reviewer: Anonymous , Champaign, IL Date: August 14, 2007
We have been using the double BOB for 6 months now, and are really pleased with it. It is extremely easy to maneuver, the optional swivel front wheel makes it perfect for walking and jogging, and since we use it for walking mostly, the swivel is invaluable. We have a BOB single that is older, and my complaints with that were completely addressed with the 2007 duallie. Mainly, the sun shades are improved and are potentially the best on the market now. The seats recline further, which is really important for very young children, which we have. Finally, the addition of a snack tray was really nice. We used it at first with a car seat on one side for our newborn, and that worked very well. Now we have our 4-month-old and 2-year-old side-by-side and everybody is happy and content. We can fit quite a lot in the underseat storage area, and with the addition of the handlebar console, we have drink holder, wallet and phone storage, as well. Finally, my husband and I are both quite tall and the handle height has been adequate for us both. The main drawback is its bulkiness, which limits is usefulness on the road, but you can't have everything! In short, we are extremely pleased with this stroller, both the single and double versions, and would enthusiatically recommend it for anyone looking primarily for a walker/jogger that they will use from home.

BOB Revolution Duallie Double Stroller

5
Reviewer: Megan , Portland, OR Date: August 13, 2007
I love this stroller! It is so light and easy to jog and walk with. My kids are big so having something light was really important to me. The sun shades pull down to provide good protection. I have also used the stroller with only my 2 year old (30 pounds) and it felt super balanced with only one child. It is really easy to fold and pop the wheels off to put it in the back of my car. It is big and kind of cumbersome but totally worth every penny! This website is by far the best in service. I previously bought a double stroller from another website (big mistake). I would recommend joggingstroller.com to anyone who is wanting great service. They really help you make an informed decision. This is a big purchase so it's worth reading the reviews of parents who use the strollers daily.

Reviewer: Ranya , Cleveland,OH Date: August 13, 2007
I just wanted to add to my last review that JoggingStroller.com is so amazing!!! The information on this website is sooo helpful in choosing a stroller. I had originally decided to get the Tike Tech Trax360, but it was backordered. I found it at another online retailer, supposedly in stock, so I ordered it there. After fighting with them for two weeks to ship the stroller, I canceled my order and came back to JoggingStroller.com. I decided to go with the BOB instead and I ordered it one day and it came the very next day!!! How's that for fast shipping?! Thank you JoggingStroller.com!!!

BOB is sooo cool!!!

4
Reviewer: Ranya , Cleveland, OH Date: August 13, 2007
After a ton of research on double joggers we finally decided on BOB . . . and boy are we glad we did! We had an Instep 10K for about five years. It served us well and held up pretty well considering the abuse we put it through. (We just had baby number five and our oldest is seven!) But when it came time to get a new one I just couldn't go with the cheaper models knowing what else was out there. The swivel wheel was the number one requirement for our new stroller. I don't jog, but I power walk on city streets mostly. What I love about the BOB swivel is that it is so easy to lock in place. When we went on vacation and only had gravel roads, I just locked it and went. The second requirement was a large sun canopy (separate ones is nice too). The BOB canopies are absolutely amazing!!! With my son sitting all the way up and my infant laying all the way back, neither of them have any sun in there faces whatsoever! But best thing about BOB is that it pushes like a dream. It really is like you're not pushing at all. I even pushed it fairly easily on the beach! My husband was pretty skeptical about buying such an expensive stroller and he was the first to admit that there is NO COMPARISON between BOB and the Instep. I've also pushed a Valco and was not particularly impressed. (Plus the Valco sun canopies are almost pointless, they're so small.) One thing the Valco does have over BOB is storage space. BOB really does not have much and the basket on bottom is a little hard to get to (though easier than my Instep and doesn't drag on the floor like the Instep). I'm going to go ahead and get the parent console because having to reach into the back pockets for water or my cell phone is hard and pretty much requires me to stop walking. (I agree that for the price the parent console should be included.) As for fitting through doors, I haven't had any problems yet. Though I don't keep it in the house, I have been able to fit it through my front door. I have also taken it to a lot of stores (i.e. Marshall's, Borders, Walmart) including our tiny little market down the street. I have been able to fit through the doors at all these places, though it is a tight fit, but it definitely goes. And wheeling around these stores wasn't much harder than wheeling my single (and BOB maneuvers better than my single anyway). The seats on BOB are pretty great. My kids are definitely comfortable. I love that my toddler's feet actually rest on the foot rest. He looks so comfy! Also, though I'm sure it's not recommended, the footrest is large enough to sit another child comfortably (though I only recommend it for a short period of time). I do find, however, that when you recline the seats they tilt very slightly to the middle. The kids haven't complained, but I wonder if it's supposed to do that or if I should call BOB and find out if something's wrong. The only other negative about BOB is that it's very heavy, but I knew that going in. And the folding is a two step process. (My husband thinks the pull string on the bottom to fold it is going to be the first thing to break.) BOB is not my car stroller. He sits in the garage and only has to go in the car when we go on vacation. I also don't like that the tether strap has to be connected to the bottom. If I let go of it, it drops to the floor and I have to bend to pick it up. But that's really minor. In summary, here are the pros and cons: PROS: - Swivel wheel that locks easily - Pushes AMAZING! - HUGE, separate sun canopies - Comfy seats and footrest - Sturdy construction - Fits through most doors - Brake is easy to set and release CONS: - No parent console - Heavy - Small storage space - Seats tilt slightly in recline position - Two step fold. Overall, we are sooo happy with BOB!!! Like other reviewers have said - it really does make you want to get out there and run (or walk)!

Benchmark of twin size strollers: 2007 BOB Revolution Duallie vs. Baby Jogger (BJ) City Series vs. Valco Tri Mode.

4
Reviewer: Brett , Farmington Hills, MI Date: July 15, 2007
Overall: We tested all three strollers. Not many positive things to say about Valco. BJ in many ways is a better stroller vs. the BOB. However, ultimately we liked BOB best and that is the one we kept. Key decision criteria: We wanted something that was easy to push our 18 month and 4 month old around. We also wanted excellent sun protection, ease of use, durability and something that would last as they aged. So on to my (and wife?s) opinions? Baby ergonomics: BJ has a deeper, more padded seat vs. BOB. BJ reclining mechanism and strap adjustment are very, very nice and it also reclines further vs. BOB. It takes the baby a few minutes to get comfortable in the BOB when he is trying to sleep and straps are harder to adjust when the children are in them. I read the specs on these strollers hoping to find one that would last the longest in terms of head room height (ie, seat back) since our daughter is tall. Valco lists theirs at 30? which is not accurate. The BJ has 4-5? more head room than the BOB which I measure simply from the top of our 18 mo's head to where the sun shade is. BJ?s sun shade is also greatly improved than the old model (we also own a 05 single City Series). It gives good protection and has two viewing windows. While the BOB?s sun shade also does a good job in terms of coverage, it is not nearly as nice as the BJ design. The Valco didn?t come close to either. I do like that the Valco has a belly bar from which the child can hold, hang things, etc. More manufacturers should do this -- if you take a child a long walk, jog, trip to mall, etc. where do they put their book, sippy cup etc? BOB has a couple pockets in each seat that are adequate. BJ has no seat pockets. Its surprising BJ designed this stroller for the ?urban parent? and forgot to add seat pockets for the kids plus the underneath storage area is about half the size of BOB?s. Parent ergonomics: What it came down to in our final decision is that pushing BOB is like pushing almost nothing at all. It has a superior, smooth ride. Since the kids already weigh a combined 45 pounds this was a large factor for my wife who takes them for long daily walks. It also ran straight (no left/right pull) right out of the box. BJ I?d describe as adequate for strollers in this price range and by no means bad, just simply BOB requires less effort. Valco did poorly here. It failed the push test right from the driveway. I?m 6?1? so I liked BJ?s adjustable handle bar whereas BOB is fixed. Frame construction on both BOB and BJ is great whereas I?d describe Valco as loose/shaky. For folding, BJ is the simplest, best design around and has a smaller folded footprint vs. BOB. This could be a factor but usually we just push ours into the garage. I do like the BOB?s suspension system better. It has the shocks mounted further towards the rear wheels vs. BJ where the design puts them on the front two wheels. Valco doesn?t have any shock-type suspension system. Overall: We bought the BOB because it just simply has the smoothest, easiest ride. We chose this over the factors we thought were great about the BJ. After seeing and pushing the Valco we didn?t even consider it.

My BOB rocks, but he wasn't made for the big city

Don?t get me wrong, I LOVE my B.O.B, and I would love to give it 5 stars. After researching double strollers for 8 months, surveying people in the mall, bugging friends, and getting opinions online (Joggingstroller.com is truly wonderful with info and customer service) I decided B.O.B. was my guy. HERE'S WHY I LOVE IT: It can accommodate the Graco infant travel carseat (with a separate accessory). The only other double joggers that do are the Valco (awesome stroller, but not made for jogging) and the MBUD (way too bulky and not so pretty ? in my opinion). The Baby Jogger will have a separate accessory for travel systems coming soon, I?m told. It is easy to fold and store in my trunk (Lexus RX300). Two side tabs allow you to fold it in half, then use the handle behind the seats to fold it flat. I am 8 months pregnant and I can do it with ease. It has separate sunshades with great coverage. My 36? tall daughter fits in there with plenty of room to spare. It is the smoothest riding stroller I?ve ever tried. It is like pushing air ? and it makes you want to get out there and run. It also turns on a dime and you can maneuver it with your pinky finger. Tip: Buy the soft parent console accessory. It is definitely worth it to have a place to store your water and keys while on the run. BUT B.O.B LOSES A STAR BECAUSE: From the website: ??With inboard rear wheels and measuring just shy of 31" wide, the BOB Revolution Duallie maintains a low profile and fits easily through standard doorways, making it an excellent double stroller for urban use? ? I don?t know what standard doorway width is, but I couldn?t even get it out my front door (It has clearance of 29.5?) and my house was built in 1990. Fortunately, my house has two other adjoining doors which open up nice and wide and I keep my stroller in my car, so no big deal. I remembered someone telling me that the double is the same width as a wheelchair and almost every place is wheelchair accessible in the suburbs, right? Well, no. I took it to a store in the mall and attempted to enter the ladies room door. It seems their doorway was about the same width as my front door because I couldn?t squeeze us in. They had a handicapped accessible bathroom beside the ladies room, but it was locked, so I had to find an attendant to go get the key and open the door for us. The whole process ended up taking about 20 minutes, not a lot of fun when riding with a 2 year old. At McDonalds, we had to ask everyone to move their seats in in order to get by. I've only taken it out a couple of times because my second child hasn't arrived yet, but at least we know what we're dealing with and I still think it is great. Bottom line: B.O.B. is graceful and beautiful, but don't plan on taking him everywhere.

GREAT for everything...

Reviewer: Elizabeth , Denver, CO Date: June 02, 2007
This stroller is great for jogging, but it's working wonderfully as our everyday stroller as well. It's the closest thing to perfect there is! My 6 month old has been carried in a Bjorn her whole life while we shopped for a double stroller, and consequently HATES all strollers. But, she loves this one. Our first ride, we were out for an hour and she didn't complain at all. PROS: Fits both my tall 22 month son and 6 month daughter. (I added my LL Bean car seat liner for my daughter, fits like a charm!) The five point harnesses are easy to use, super adjustable, and hold them like a glove when I have to go up and down curbs or even steps. The sun visor is large, offers a peek through window, and a few positions to get the right amount of coverage. There are three reclining positions, so my son can sit up and look around while my daughter lounges or even snoozes. It's SO easy to push, one handed, two handed, uphill or down, steers around curves like a dream! It's easier than either of our single strollers! The pockets behind the seat hold the essentials, but are built outside the firm seat back, so your child isn't being poked in the back by your goodies. It is super easy to fold and surprisingly light- I get it in and our of our SUV easily, and still have lots of room for other things. It fits in and out our front door, around our house, and up the main aisles of most stores. It's sturdy and light, the perfect combo to go up and down the steps to our house or over curbs. Even with the swivel wheel activated and two different size kids, it rolls very straight. Everything is separate for the kids- they have their own seat positions, canopies and two mesh sippy cup pouches each. I'm 5'10", my husband's 6'2" and my mom is 5'7"- we all push it easily. CONS- there is no strap to keep it folded. This isn't a huge deal- if you keep it wheels up, it stays put and you can carry it with one hand. When fully reclined, the rising or setting sun may get in a little one's eyes. Attaching a flannel receiving blanket to the velcro on the canopy solves this one. The basket isn't super deep, but it's wide enough to compensate. You might have to go to two smaller diaper bags rather than one big bag, which we do anyway. Shopping in a crowded store wouldn't work, but I think this is true of all double strollers, tandem or not. I'm shocked at how much I want to use this stroller- I find things to do to have an excuse to load everyone up and go! It seems expensive, but none of the cheaper ones would fit my son, now or later. It's the cheapest one that allows for a few years of use. And since I can use it for our daily jaunts, I think it's a bargain since I only need to own one stroller. I jog with it almost every day, too, but I'm not a super serious runner. I don't know any drawbacks for a great runner, but there may be some I'm not aware of. Overall, I wouldn't recommend anything else. I did tons of research, test drove a bunch, and this was a lot of bang for the buck. I can't think of anything I would change, and that says a lot...

We love our BOBs!

5
Reviewer: Sarah , Fairfax, VA Date: May 25, 2007
We have a 2.5 year old and a 10 month old. We purchased a single BOB Revolution in 2005 for our older child then when our 2nd came along we couldn't decided whether we needed a double or not. We finally broke down and invested the money in a Double Revolution (it is an investment!) but we are so glad we did. My husband and I go for evening walks with the kids and it is great --the swivel front wheel allows you to maneuver so much easier over bumpy terrain and to navigate through tight spots. We are actually suprised that although it is a big stroller, it is not as big as we were expecting it to be. We love the new feature that allows you to recline the seats. My older child likes it so much, she actually climbs in and buckles herself--so I guess it must be an enjoyable ride! For functionlity, I give it 5 stars. My only complaints with both of my BOBS are: (1) when you fold the stroller up, there is not good way to secure it so it stays folded--so I make my husband deal with that (2) I had to buy the adult cup holder accessory for both of my BOBs. For the price of these strollers, the cup holders should come standard.

Best out there!! A Must have!!

I did a lot of searching before I purchased this stroller and was alittle afraid of the cost, but this stroller is So Worth It!! There is a two step system to collapse it but its easy. The wheels are easy and quick to take off for better storage. Fits great in my explorer. Even our smaller car trunk. It pushes itself which is a huge change from the graco dual glider i had. I broke both wrist when i was younger and the graco was starting to bother them. This stroller is a pleasure to push my 2 yr old and 9 mth old in. We live on a dirt road and running is no problem. This stroller makes you want to go out for a run. I take it to the store and mall. My kids love it. Some stores are tight to squeeze into but it nothing compared to the great value. I've purchased my last stroller! The seats are great. My little one can nap while my older one is sitting up. If you push up the shades there is plenty of head room. Also, my husband is 6'2" and he loves this stroller too, its higher than the graco but not too high for me at 5'2". Great buy, excellent value. You can even pull it backwards onto the beach and it easily goes through the sand. The shades provide more than enough protection from the sun.

I love, love, love this stroller. My children are three months and three years. The three year old is quite tall for her age (about 39 inches)and fits very well in this stroller. I also bought the carseat attachment bar which also has cup holders for both children when you're done using it as a carseat bar...which is a great idea. The stroller practically pushes itself and both my girls enjoy riding in it. I think the seat recline improvement this year was a great idea. It makes for very comfy napping on the go. The sun canopy is one of the best out there and the peekaboo windows up top are very helfpul. Although this isn't my "trunk stroller" I am able to fit it in the trunk of my 2001 Honda Civic without too much trouble! I love BOB strollers because everything just makes sense...and everything is so well thought out. Although the stroller is expensive, I think it is well above the crowd that you might be comparing it with and much better quality. I pushed a Valco and an MBUD while trying out the BOB and there is absolutely NO comparison! BOB is the best!

Great, but still Heavy

Reviewer: Liz , Rock Springs, WY Date: April 26, 2007
The quality of this stroller is unquestionably great. Here's a few pros and cons PROS: *Incredibly easy to pop up from folded position * Easy folding process, though it takes 2 hands * Restraints are easy to adjust * Fantastic fabrics for durability * Car seat adaptable * My 3'3" 3yr old fits in the seat pretty well, but the canopy is sort of in his way. *Of course, very easy to push and turn corners CONS: *Fabric must be unscrewed from frame to wash *Canopy must also be unscrewed to be removed *Front swivel tire is not quite as "quick" to release as the others and takes a little practice * It's not easy to put in a higher-up vehicle - and, if you've not seen a double in your trunk before, you'll be surprised how massive one is. *I've decided to go with the Tike Tech Trax 360 mostly because of how cumbersome the Revolution is to get in and out of the car/house. It doesn't have a simple locking device that I'm aware of to keep in in folding position. You can use the tether to sort of wrap around itself and velcro in place, but it's not a very strong hold. OVERALL: If I was using this to really jog and it had it's own place in my garage I would choose this one. But, we live in a little apartment and space is at a premium, so the stroller will have to reside in the back of the car. Basically, there isn't a perfect stroller - you just have to choose based on what's most important to you.

I am so happy I made this purchase. This stroller handles better than even my single graco stroller. My only complaint is that it is awkward getting it into the car, but that is a minor concession as far as I am concerned. I love to run with it and it is great for running errands. Thanks so much!

I love my BOB! We use it all the time. It is great for walks around my neighborhood and on trails. Right now there is still some snow and slush out on the streets and the BOB just plows through it like it's nothing. I like how the canopies cover so much. My twins are still small and it keeps the sun out of their eyes. It is kinda big but so are all double joggers. It fits through doors well and the swivel wheel makes it a delight to push around. I think this is well worth the money.

not enough head room

3
Reviewer: Anonymous , Honolulu, HI Date: April 08, 2007
I was ready to purchase a BOB Revolution when I had my daughter test it out. There wasn't any extra head room under the canopy. She is 2 1/2 and tall for her age, but clearly did not look comfortable. This was not the first stroller to have little space. An important feature that double strollers offer is carseat compatability which this one does. I am going to have to resort to a stroller where my daughter fits yet there isn't a car seat adapter--comfort vs function. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be the perfect stroller for everyone.

Comments from The Staff:

HI there! That's true, there's not one stroller that will work for everyone - but the BOB stroller not accommodating taller children isn't something I hear a whole lot. The BOB strollers can actually be used without the canopies too - so if you want an awesome BOB stroller, and you have a taller child, you can just pop off the canopy, and put your child in some cool shades - and be the hippest parent on the block!

i just tried this stroller at the store. my son is 2,5 yo and he did not have any space for his head because of the canopy. he is just an average height, so you have to keep it in mind before considering this stroller.

Comments from The Staff:

Hi there! Hmm, that's interesting, because this is actually one of our strollers with a higher seat back! I'd be curious to know how old your two year old is. BOB's canopies are also removable - so if the child does outgrow the stroller, you can continue to use it without the canopy.

Great Stroller!

Reviewer: Anonymous , Detroit, MI Date: March 31, 2007
I bought my BOB Revolution Dualie last winter but just started taking it out now that the snow is gone and my baby is 4 months old (other child is 2 1/2). It is soooo easy to push and the ride is so smooth. I can't even believe I'm pushing two kids. I bought a kidopottamus snuglie to put in the seat for the baby and that gives it a perfect fit for him with plenty of head support. I would recommend this if you are going to put in a child under 6 months. It is so easy to use even my technically challenged mother-in-law thinks it's a breeze. I don't go shopping much with the kids so the storage has been more than adequate for my purposes. I also don't see the fuss about the harnesses, they are like a 5 point car seat. Once you have them initially adjusted to your child, all you have to do is snap them in. The height is great, I am 6'1" and have no problems. Love it!!!!

We are not typically big spenders, especially on baby gear, but this jogger is worth every penny!

I researched double joggers for months and could not be more pleased with the BOB we settled on! One of my deciding factors was that it fits through a standard door frame, which is extremely helpful, and we didn't have to buy another stroller for non-exercising outings!

As for jogging/walking, the stroller is weightless and glides so nicely. The single front swivel wheel is a big plus.

The sun shades offer terrific coverage for my babies, and I like that they adjust to multiple positions, so you can alter for various sun/shade scenarios.

Obviously, we're very pleased with the BOB.

Great for expats

Reviewer: S.D. Garner , Hanoi, Vietnam Date: March 08, 2007
I live in Vietnam, and bought this stroller for daily navigation, not jogging. There are no real sidewalks here and the street pavement can be rough and uneven. My husband and I joke that we should complain that it does not perform well in deep water and canâ??t take more than 3 steps at a time. But really, itâ??s been a godsend for us. We love it.

Alas, there are a few practical downsides:
We travel to Europe/the US with our 3 year old, 2 year old and infant regularly. This stroller is too big to go through the x-ray machine at airports and the airport staff get worked up over how to inspect it. (their problem, I guess, not yours) The straps are a little annoying and difficult to get in place, especially when youâ??ve got a fidgety child. I clip a flashing light for visibility to the stroller, but there is no real good location for it. Going down steep hills can be a real workout too, since there is no way to slowly break. Setting the break can be difficult too, if youâ??ve got open-toed shoes. These are all minor complaints. My big complaint is that is that Iâ??ve had it for only 4 months and part of the side stitching on one of the seats is fraying badly â??already there is a hole about 3 inches long. Since I canâ??t really send it back to the States for repair, Iâ??m looking into fixing it here.

Rides like a dream!

I love this stroller!!! Great for walking/jogging and I love the swiveling front wheel. For a jogging stroller there is a decent amount of storage room--little nets in the seats for kid cups, two big net compartments behind both seats for wipes, etc. and a big compartment under the seats (which is a little hard to access-but not too bad).

The shocks give the stroller an amazing ride!! One drawback is that I haven't been able to find anyway to latch the stroller closed, which can make taking this large stroller in and out of my small SUV kind of difficult. But overall, a great stroller. Also I got the jogging stoller handlebar console, which is great holds two cups and has a small zippered pouch for keys/phone, etc.

A Great All Terrain Stroller

5
Reviewer: Anonymous , Saugus, CA Date: March 04, 2007
This is a great all terrain stroller. I use it for speed walking throughout the Santa Clarita Valley (from paved bike paths thru rocky trails) with my 2 year old and my 6 month old. They both love getting out and seeing the sights. I also use it on trips to the zoo and amusement parks and museums in Los Angeles. I have four girls (ages 6, 5, 2 and 6 mos). The eldest three will take turns riding next to their baby sister and are all capable of climbing in and out with no assistance. It is a little awkard getting in and out of the car, but it's a double side by side stroller. That's the nature of the beast. It handles beautifully and even my husband (he's 6' 2") likes the handlebar height and the stroller's shock system. We had the original BOB from 6 years ago. We took that one to Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion when our eldest was about 4 months. It is the one of the few pricey pieces of baby equipment I recommend because of its quality, ease of use, and its reliability.

A LIFE SAVER!!! BEST $$$ I EVER SPENT!!!

Reviewer: Catherine S. , Athens, AL Date: March 03, 2007
This is my 5th stroller! At first I had a single, but then I got pregnant with twins and had to buy a double. I bought a "Saftey 1st" tandem stroller and at first it was great but as the twins got bigger the tandem stroller got harder and harder to push, Eventually it was so difficult that my wrists would hurt and I just quit using the tandem all together.. Then I bought a used umbrella stroller, it was easier to manuver but wasn't meeting the demands of constant use, the double umbrella was often hard to turn in isles and I had no storage what so ever. After talking to a mutual mother of twins I finally started researching jogging strollers. I researched the prices, specs and consumer reports on all the top jogging strollers. I narrowed it down to the Valco Runabout and the B.O.B.. I decided on the B.O.B. simply because it only has one wheel in the front and I would like to be able to jog with out the wheels interfering with each other [some reviews of the Valco Runabout stated that the wheels sometimes lock with one another]. Let me assure you, This is the greatest investment I have ever made. People are always complimenting me on my stroller and they are amazed when I show them how I easily it manuvers I can twirl the twins in a circle in the stroller with one finger!! THE B.O.B. IS SOOOO EASY TO DRIVE, I LOVE MY B.O.B.!!!!! I NEVER LEAVE HOME WITH OUT IT! [Also, The brake system is so easy to use it isnt even funny.]

THE ONLY drawbacks are the bottom storage area being useless, and the 5pt harness takes some getting used to It really should be redesigned[but its tolerable]. I always avoid using the storage under the stroller because it is so narrow...good for toys and books for the twins though. The 5pt harness is a real pain to use too many straps to adjust but after you get used to it and get them adjusted to your child they are not that bad.[the only reason i did not give it 5 stars is because of the storage, or lack there of and harness belts]

I love this stroller and I recommend it to everyone! The BOB Revolution is in my opinion one of the best strollers ever made and the duallie just makes it twice as nice.

I have 3 children that are 5 1/2, 4, and 3 months old. I can put all 3 (although this probably isn't recommended) in the stroller with my oldest sitting on the front. I love the fact that the seats individually recline and they also have their own sunshades. The only thing that I do wish is that the seats would recline just a little bit further but other than that I am more than happy with the stroller as a whole.

Everyone that pushes it has fallen in love with it. When we first got it my husband and I would argue over who got to push it! And ordering from joggingstroller.com was easy and quick. I have no complants!

BOB Revo Duallie

Reviewer: Mick Armstrong , Newport News, VA Date: March 02, 2007
Let me start by saying that I am a stay at home dad and run a lot (upwards of 50 miles per week). I have had a Mountian Buggy Urban (Single) for two years and I bought this stroller because it was very similar however it has better sun shades (independant and further down) a single front wheel and all other things looked comparable.

Generally I have been very happy with the stroller and I am sure that it will be better when the girls get a bit older (3months and 24months currently). My issues areas follows-

The seats dont recline fully as stated only about 45degrees, (The mountain buggy goes way back). The harness is pathetic, it has soooo many bits and pieces to it that are really not required or could be achieved more simply. (Again check the mountain buggy its harness is a dream) The sun shades really block the vision of the child who gets bored quickly with only limited view.

My remedies have been to pad out the seat for the first couple of months to get a flatter seating position, it is starting to work better now that the young one can nearly sit up and the upright position works better. The seat belts I just jury rig to make them work without using them as they were designed. I am happy that they do their job but it is still an inconvenience. The sun shades currently dont get used a great deal given we are still in the grips of winter here but I will have to sort something for summer.

Having said all of that I am still very happy with it as a running stroller. As I said, I do a lot of running at a good pace and it has held up very well, suspension is great for dirt trails and the swivelling front wheel is the way to go. (I only lock mine out when I am walking the dogs and I need free hands to deal with them, ie I dont need to steer as much.) The break is great, I think people must live in San Francisco if they need a hand break on a stroller. A handle bar for the kids would be good (again as per the mountain buggy). My eldest was a little lost for the first couple of weeks because she had become so used to hanging onto the bar.

The console is great for drinks, keys, pacifiers, cookies etc. The rain cover is good although took a little getting used to for the girls. The kids foot bay is great as it catches most things they drop and they are able to pick up.

I never use the basket because I am running and I dont want to weigh myself down but it has plenty of space for diapers, wipes and a blanket or two. What else do you need!!!

Anyway, A good buggy but I would seriously look at the Mountain Buggy a bit more if it wasnt for the double front wheels.

Comments from The Staff:

The new 2007 models recline 70 degrees from verticle, which is almost twice as far as the previous years models - which should help.

It's interesting that you found the full coverage sun canopy a con! That's generally something I use to promote the stroller, so I found your comments very interesting! The canopies on the BOB strollers come forward nearly all the way - they almost encompass the child, so that the most possible coverage from the sun can be achieved. But, if that seems to be blocking the child's view, there are many partial positions you can have the canopy in, so that the child's view isn't being obstructed.

Worth the $$$$

I really like this stroller. I researched strollers for a few months before buying this one and I am glad I waited and researched them because there are a lot of other models that are cheeper but will not give you what the Bob Revolution gives you. I also asked a lot of people that I saw on the street or at parks if they were using double joggers and what they thought. The Bob Revolution had the best reviews by far! However everyone warned me about how spendy they were, and how they thought it was worth the large amount of money spent on it. After buying it I agreed. It is worth the money spent. I love that the wheel is both swiveled and locked. I also love how smooth it rides. My sons love it and want to sit in it even when we are not going anywhere. It is rather large, but does fit though doorways. I did not think it was that heavy, but I did wish that it folded more compact, and it barley fits in the back of our car (although I knew when I bought it that it would be large even when folded). I highly recommend this stroller if you are an avid walker on any tarain, or a jogger/runner. I take walks everyday and this is the best stroller/investment that my family has ever made in reguards to childrens products. This is because it was built well, and I know it will last though all our children, now and in the future. I wish you the best of luck in finding the right stroller for you. I don't think you will be disipointed with the Bob Revolution.

I love my Bob Double. It is by far the easiest double to get through tight spaces. Because the front end is narrow, you can really steer it well through doorways and such. Both my 2 year old and 6 month old like the stroller, which was not the case with our Graco tandem. The dual sun shade is amazing and keeps my 6 month old covered from the sun. I purchased the drink holder attachment and I find it very useful. I wish Bob made a carrying bag for the double.

This is the best stroller I have ever used! I like that it can be fixed or swivel wheel in the front. This baby just glides and feels lighter than my single regular stroller I have. I bought the drink accessory holder which is awesome, although a bit overpriced. I love how far the sun shades come done to cover the boys. I have a 7 mo old and I daycare a 5 mo old. I never hear a complaint from either one and they always fall asleep. I haven't had a problem with the straps rubbing on their necks. It does come with a soft strap cover to help prevent the rubbing. My son is tall for his age and I like that this seat will grow with him. Other joggers have more limitations in the height adjustment.

I was a little scared ordering such an expensive stroller, but when it arrived, those fears went out the door. It was a breeze to put together, nothing to it really, just unwrap and stick on the wheels! I took my kids for a ride right away and they both seemed so comfortable! Thanks to the helpful people at joggingstroller.com who helped me pick the stroller that's perfect for our family!

Comments from The Staff:

I'm so glad we could help :) This is one of my favorite strollers, too. It's a breeze to run with. I'm so glad that you like it!

Sorry but its a dud!

Reviewer: Anonymous , San Diego, CA Date: February 23, 2007
I am still trying to find out what all the fuss is with this stroller. I bought it with high hopes in using it for all my running around, but it has seriously given me nothing but headaches. The stroller comes with a harness that rubs on my kids necks which really bothers them, and the stroller is pretty heavy considering how small it is, and the straps already have broken on the basket. unfortunately is just isn't what I was looking for in a double stroller.

Comments from The Staff:

Wow, I'm really surprised to hear that - this is probably one of our most popular strollers. Regarding the straps - sounds like a manufacturer defect. And regarding the harness - you might be able to move the straps either up or down so that they aren't rubbing your childs neck anymore. We can assist you with getting a new basket, or start the return process if this stroller just isn't what you're looking for. Let us know what we can do to help!

I haven't even had my second baby yet, and I love this stroller. I've taken my son out with one of his friends in it, and even though it's bigger and heavier than the single stroller I have, it's easier to push. The harnesses are really easy to use and super adjustable, and the sun shades are great. I only wish the basket underneath were a little bigger.

Love my BOB

4
Reviewer: Anonymous , salt lake city , utah Date: February 06, 2007
I mainly use my BOB double stroller for walking and trips around town. It glides great and is a breeze to push. My complaints about it are; No brake on the handlebar for slowing down when I'm going down a hill, the seat doesn't sit up completly straight, and the under storage is hard to use when the kids are in the stoller. But having said this, I still love my stroller and it's been our best purchase. I also love the swivel wheel. You can easily turn one handed in any situation.

Comments from The Staff:

Hi there! Unfortunately, the hand brakes aren't available on swivel wheel strollers. Hand brakes lock the front wheels, and you can't lock a front swivel wheel with a hand brake - only a front stationery wheel can be locked with a hand brake.

Careful when running!

4
Reviewer: Running Mom , Charlotte, NC Date: November 27, 2006
I bought my Bob Revolution Duallie last April and have been absolutely thrilled with it. One warning...the instruction manual says to lock the swivel wheel in place when running with the stroller. It is truly imperative to follow that instruction. While running with my 12 month old, the wheel turned sideways and forced the stroller to stop abruptly. The stroller flipped, I fell on top of both the baby and the stroller. Good news, I had the baby fastened in properly and the carrier frame took the majority of the impact. Other than a minor bump, the baby was fine. More good news, both joggingstroller.com and the BOB manufacturer were wonderful to work with. We had the stroller evaluated to determine how the accident happened and repaired as quickly as possible. I am stilled glad I chose this one over any other.

Love this stroller!

Reviewer: Myra S. , Clarksville, TN Date: October 14, 2006
After much research, my husband surprised me with this stroller for my birthday. At the time we had a 1 month old and an 18 month old and a black lab puppy that needed daily walks! I was worried to use a jogging stroller while my baby was so young (recommended age is 6-8weeks old) but I used a car seat headrest pillow for support and it worked out great. When I received the stroller, my husband was out of town, so I had to put it together by myself and it was so easy! When we took it out for our first walk, the stroller rode so smooth and with such ease, I felt like the stroller was pushing itself! Iâ??m 5â??5â?? and my husband is 6â??2â?? and the height is comfortable for both of us. We really put it to the test a month later when we took my husbandâ??s 7 year old twins to Mammoth Cave National Park. We went exploring in the woods and my husband pushed this stroller up and down hills, through rocky trails and around sharp switchbacks. The shocks made the ride so comfortable that our baby slept most of the time! The best thing is the separate sun shades; I can have my baby completely blocked from the sun while my toddler can still see everything around him. I don't use this stroller to go shopping at the mall so I don't have to put it in and out of our trunk, but I was able to squeeze it into our Honda Accord trunk by simply taking off the front tire. We've had this stroller for nearly 4 months and we go on walks almost daily. Our puppy is now big and strong but with the sturdiness of this stroller, I don't have to worry about her pulling and tugging. This stroller is built to last and is definitely worth every penny! My husband also purchased the cup holder accessory and it is a perfect spot and within easy reach for my cell phone, house keys and sippy cups!

Wonderful stroller!

Reviewer: Anonymous , Atlanta, GA Date: August 29, 2006
This stroller is beyond wonderful. It does have limited room underneath...but the function of this stroller completely makes up for that. This stroller makes me feel excited about getting out of the house and going shopping or jogging. It is so smooth, effortless to push, fits through every doorway I have been through and turns so amazingly well, unlike any stroller I've used. The separate canapies are great and provide a lot of protection from sun, wind, etc... I can not say enough good things about this stroller. While I, too, have to remove the front wheel to fit it in my car trunk, it takes seconds and reassembles with the same ease. No complaints from me. Worth every penny!!!

freedom to go

This is the best stroller I have ever used. We walk quite a bit and have used this in and around our neighbor hood, the mall, and in and out of shops. It truly fits through your standard door and folds in a snap. Assembly required means to just slide in the wheels and youâ??re ready to go. The separate canopies are wonderful I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old. My 2 year old likes to see everything and I can keep my baby well covered at the same time. I love the freedom this stroller has given us.

I never write a review but I had to about this stroller and web site. I had such a terrible experience with instep and runners world, it was the exact opposite with jogging stroller. This stroller is amazing. We just got back from New York city and there was not one doorway that this did not fit through. It was wonderful to use in the city and it fit in every taxi cab. Sometimes you have to take off the wheels but it is effortless. My boys, 2 and 3, were so comfortable! It was so great to have this stroller and I recommend it to everyone. Great leg room, great head room, fabulous sun protection, and such an easy ride!

Great Stroller When Up and Running ~ Bear to Store

3
Reviewer: Monique , Philadelphia, PA Date: July 18, 2006
I recently purchased the Bob Revolution Dualie to accommodate my 30 month old and 5 month old. When the stroller is up and running, it is great. Solid manuveuring, nice side storage, great shocks. Shade provides great coverage. Easy access to brake. Stroller fits through most standard doors. Overall, my kids seem to enjoy the ride.

A few features which I hope BOB improves upon...basket underneath stroller has a narrow space to input stuff. I find I have to take stuff out of my normal diaper bag to fit under stroller. Collapses relatively easy but doesn't stay shut easily. Takes up a lot of space when storing. When I transport in my sedan, I have to remove at least 1 tire to fit. Definitely need to order the parent cup holder . Seats seem narrow which is okay right now for my kids but I wonder how long it will be before they look squeezed into the seats.

Comments from The Staff:

Unfortunatley, nothing small about a double.

Happy Strolling!!

Reviewer: Anonymous , San Francisco, CA. Date: June 29, 2006
I researched many strollers, went to several stores to try them out, and ended up with a BOB Revolution. I absolutely LOVE it!!! It has a smooth ride, plenty of storage space, and most importantly, my kids (2 years and 6 months) couldn't be happier! I look forward to getting in shape because I really enjoy being out with my kids in this stroller. I would highly recommmend it. A little pricey, but worth it. Its an investment in my health, and the happiness of my children.

Very Happy With the Revolution

4
Reviewer: Anonymous , Elmhurst, Il Date: June 25, 2006
This is our first jogging stroller but we are more than pleased with the revolution. I run roughly 12-15 miles per week and this stroller has been ideal. Very maneuverable. The front swivel wheel comes in handy for shopping trips etc. We have a 3 1/2 year old who is in the 100 % in height and she fits comfortably. This was essential to our purchase and I was still a bit nervous after purchasing. To our delight she fits fine as does our nine week old. The ride is great and our newborn sleeps like a champ in it. A few minor features keep me from giving this stroller five stars. 1) the handlebar console should be included at over $500. 2) Even though we only use it for blankets etc. the bottom storage is dificult to access. 3) There should be an option or adaptor for an infant/car seat carrier. 4) Not a concern for me but this thing is large and you will need an suv, truck, or a minivan to take with and do any kind of substantial shoppin with car seats etc.

Happy Twin Mom

4
Reviewer: Anonymous , MA Date: June 25, 2006
I purchased my BOB jogger when my twin boys were 18 months old. I was very hesitant to buy an expensive jogger at that age not knowing how much use I would get out of it, I needed a stroller for everyday and everywhere use. I have a Graco tandem and an inexpensive side by side umbrella. The umbrella we grew out of and the Graco was near impossible to steer with one hand any more or take on hilly walks. I read reviews for the mountain buggy and the BOB. The deciding factor for me was the great advice and insight I recieved from Lindsy at customer service and other reviews on their website for the BOB. I explained that 1. my goal was to use this as my full time stroller 2. it must fit through all doorways 3. I wanted the stroller to accomdate my 6" 3" husband running with it. She was extremely helpful and told me I would be real happy with this stroller and it's features.

She was right I love this jogger, though I was concrened when I opened it up the first day in my living room. It looked huge to me and I was so concerned I wouldn't be able to go everywhere with it that I lost a nights sleep taking mental notes of which department stores or doctors offices I could or couldn't get into with it. Well all fears aside I tried it out the next day at my favorite stores and indeed it went through every doorway.

This jogger makes life so much easier for this twin Mom. My boys are 22 months old and getting heavier everyday, the stroller practically drives itself. Indeed it turns on a dime like everyone else states, it is easy to fold, and easy to clean.

I love how the wheels can come off and the best feature for me is the independent sun canopies. The shades come down so much father than most joggers and really protects them from the sun and elements. It also comes in handy seperating the boys from teasing each other and grabbing each others hair and faces.

The only down side to this stroller is the storage basket. You can't really fit a thick diaper bag in it, however BOB makes up for it with the many other storage areas on the stroller. I throw my diapers and wallet in the mesh storage pockets on the back of the seats and off we go.

I also purchased the cup holder and the rain guard. I love both of them. Everytime it rained before I got this stroller I tried to never leave the house. By the time you get one in or out of the seat the other child is soaked. This rain guard is easy to use and eliminates this issue for me.

I am very happy with my investment and my husband is equally happy. I wish I had gotten it sooner.

I highly sugguest you contact costumer service. I am gald I did. I always do research before I make an investment or expensive purchase. In my case costmer service actually saved me from buying a more expensive stroller and put me in one that would better serve my needs. They can always give you that little extra information you need to make that crucial decision. I was so happy with the service I passed on my positive experience to the manager. Good luck and I hope you find your BOB to be your best buddy, it sure is mine!

I never thought I would buy such an expensive stroller (didn't even know such expensive strollers existed!) But this one is well worth the money - especially if you compare it to gym membership that I never use. I needed a stroller for my 8 month old and my 3 year old to go over gravel roads and through a rough path in a field on our property. This stroller is great, has stood up well, the swivel wheel is worth it. Very tough and durable and the shock system helps a lot with the pot holes in our path. It really does fit through a standard door easily. There is plently of head room for my daughter (just turned 4, average hight). She did complain at first that the seat is too narrow and she bumped her head a few times on the metal frame when we went over a hole. She seems to have adjusted the way she sits because that hasn't happened in a while. It does fold like a dream. My only dissapointment is that I can't fit it into my trunk, even with the front wheel off (I have a Toyota Echo). I'm sure if I hade a hatch back or mini van it wouldn't be a problem - I can almost get it in but it doesn't fit through the opening. If you want a stroller for rugged trails this is it. I don't actually run with it because between the weight of my kids and the terrain that we are on, I think that would be impossible. So if you're looking to go to the mall or run on pavement, this stroller probably isn't worth the price. But if you want to go off roading, this is your stroller.

BOB Duallie

Reviewer: Kristin , Atlanta, GA Date: June 24, 2006
I have tried several double jog strollers and am so pleased I finally found one that is truly worth it. It was worth a few extra dollars to have the swivel wheel, seperate canopies that really do protect the kids and let them have their own control. It is a great product. Also, this website made the purchase so efficient, and if the stroller is in stock, you will receive in just a few days time!

Great Stroller

4
Reviewer: Anonymous , Arlington, VA Date: June 24, 2006
I researched double jogging strollers for several months. This stroller came out at the end of my search and I am glad I waited for it. Overall, it is a great stroller. It is very easy to maneuver, great to do light jogging and off-road and reasonably easy to maneuver in stores, etc. The stroller feels durable, yet light to push. The individual canopies have also been great. The primary drawback to this stroller is that when it is folded (which is pretty easy to do), it does not have a mechanism to keep it folded (i.e., a clip, etc.). Therefore, it can be cumbersome to lift into a car and take out of a car. Overall, we have been extremely pleased with this stroller.

I purchased the Bob Revolution Duallie last month and I absolutely love it!!! I have had 4 double strollers and I have finally found the perfect one. It works great in the mall as well as on the trail and my husband doesn't have a problem pushing it either. I wish I would have bought this 2 1/2 years ago instead of the other double strollers I wasted my money on. Also, it doesn't matter if you have kids of different ages in there. Mine are 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 and it is really easy to push!!

I have an SUV & the stroller fits wonderfully and is easy to fold. I have had no trunk experiences so I can't comment on that. I have taken it to the mall on several occasions. It fits through every door with ease. We live in the country and I take the stroller everywhere - in the pasture and on gravel roads. I love the individual canopies and the fact that you can see the kids.

This is an excellent double stroller, it is so light and easy to maneuver. The swivel wheel makes all the difference. My one and only complaint is that it does not have much room for diaper bags, snacks, etc. I realize it was just probably just meant to be a jogging stroller which explains not much cargo space. Overall though, it is an excellent stroller and I love it!

This is my first jogging stroller. It is awesome! It is a smooth ride and my nearly 3 year old and 3 month old love it. My 3 month old was born 6 weeks premature so she still looks like a newborn. The duallie has been great for her in spite of her small size. The size of the stroller is also a plus for me because it is not extremely huge.

BOB Revolution Duallie

5
Reviewer: Anonymous , St. Louis, MO Date: June 23, 2006
My wife and I were looking for an all purpose jogging stroller that would accommodate walking, jogging, going to the mall, general shopping and all-terrain walks. This BOB stroller has been great to us for the past few months of use. It is made of durable fabric and has a very solid construction overall. The jogger is a bit pricey, but after doing a little homework and test driving other jogging strollers, the Duallie was by far the most durable/solid and easiest to maneuver. It folds easily, has the BEST sun shades for the kids that you will find and fits through all the doorways we have encountered. My wife is 5 foot 4 and when one of our 14 month old twins needs to be carried, she can easily maneuver and steer this stroller with one hand. It is very easy to steer. The swivel wheel is super. A very smooth ride.

The out-of-box assembly is simple. The stroller was ready to roll in 5 minutes. It does fold easily, however it is a little awkward when folded. Most people will not have a problem picking it up and putting it in a car or trunk. The velcro strap is a must to keep it folded tightly. Otherwise, the break down procedure consists of 2 steps and is simple. It's well worth the money.

Great for exercise not travel

4
Reviewer: Anonymous , Ann Arbor, MI Date: May 01, 2006
I bought the Revolution Duallie for the purpose of having one double stroller in my garage. I was looking for a single stroller to â??do it allâ?? and had hoped this was it. By â??do it allâ?? I mean exercising, mall trips, and travel (car or airplane.) The Revolution stroller is fantastic for exercising or just pushing the kids around. It is easy to push and maneuver both running and walking. It fits through all standard doors including the handicapped restroom in the airport, which is key if you are traveling alone with two kids. The kids love the drink pouches on the sides for their cups and donâ??t mind riding in it.

The Revolution comes up short in three areas for me. One, its ease of use in closing and keeping it closed. Although it is a simple fold over of the top and then a pull on the handle to flatten closed. Once in this position, there is no mechanism on the stroller to keep it closed. BOB provides a Velcro strap that is marginal at best. Iâ??ve used the strap when we traveled via airplane and both times the strap has cut the cushion on the handle. Itâ??s a huge hassle when you are trying to load the stroller into a car because if it isnâ??t extreme tight the stroller will start to move on you. As previously mentioned, trying to carry the stroller is difficult. Two, the handle bar isnâ??t adjustable. Iâ??ll live but it seems like it should be. Three, I was also disappointed that the water console is extra. Itâ??s a jogging stroller - seems like it should be standard but I guess the manufacturer knows most of us will buy it as an add on.

Comments from JoggingStroller.com:

Very good points... To be honest, you're hard pressed to find a Double Jogging Stroller that is easy to carry... it's a lot of stroller. But good points, thanks!

Reviewer: Anonymous , Birmingham, Alabama Date: April 17, 2006
I was looking for a stroller to accommodate a 3yr old and 1yr old, both tall. Also, I'm 5'10". The Revolution seems to fit us pretty well. Plenty of headroom for the kids; 3 yr old's knees are at a pretty serious bend, but she says she's comfortable. Good height for me. I've only had it for a few days, but it's already been a few miles. Great sun protection, excellent handling. Front wheel locks solidly (no give) for jogging. The swivel was a must for us since this is primarily a city stroller. Good storage. Very easy to fold. Definitely get console. Downsides: Lots of adjustments on 5-pt harness makes it cozy but a little cumbersome. must make some adjustments before/after folding every time--shocks, clip for harness system.

Comments from The Staff:

I'm not really sure I understand the issue here onte 'downside'? I've tried to replicate what's been said, but can't? Thanks though, good to put it out there and see if others have this issue. You may want to call BOB and ask about it, or feel free to call us.

Excellent stroller

Reviewer: Lisa Nickols , Moline, IL Date: April 11, 2006
I got my stroller couple of weeks ago and it had it's first trip to the Mall of America. We love how easy the stoller pushes my 3 and 5 year old around. The kids can get in and out with out any help. They also like having the cup holders right next to them. We had no trouble going in the stores to look around. As we walked around people look at and asked if I like it and told them that I wish that I got this long time ago instead of the other one I had. Two things I wish it had was a larger place to put items under the stroller and that was easier to carry when needed to be carried. I'm not a jogger, but wouldn't want to be with out it if I was one. I love the stroller. One more thing I suggest that you get the handle bar drink holder with it it is wonderful.

Revolution Duallie

Reviewer: Anonymous , Washington, DC Date: April 03, 2006
I just received my Bob RD this weekend but thought I would post my initial reaction since there isn't a lot of info out there. I ordered the Mesa orange color and love it. It was easy to assemble and the fold process is pretty easy. You push on levers to lower the handle bars and then pull a "ripcord" to fold the stroller over the wheels. Although it is a single swivel wheel, the stroller is very stable. I have not run with it yet but it pushes very well and smoothly on neighborhood walks. I have 15 month old twins and the cockpits are roomy and comfortable. The sunhoods are amazing and expand down so low that I don't think late afternoon walks into the sun will be a problem. I also like that there is a cord that can be used to gather the excess fabric when the sunhoods are raised so that the material isn't folded/cramped around their heads. I also have a Mountain Buggy Urban Double but I think I like my new BOB better. Oh and it also rolled through my front door (didn't need to fold it).

The only downside is that the handlebar is not adjustable and a little high (I'm 5' 4".) Also, the harnesses seem a little too busy; could be simpler but not a big deal. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 since I have only used it twice. I am happy with my purchase and happy with joggingstroller.com.

I've been running with this stroller for 1 week, pushing my 17 month old and 5 month old (about 70 pounds, including the stroller). It's extremely comfortable, maneuverable and smooth. I tried every double jogger I could, both fixed and swivel wheel, before buying this. This is by far the best. It's easier to run with this stroller with both kids than to run with my fixed wheel single jogger and one child. It has been great on hills, flats and bumpy roads (haven't taken it on trails yet). Also, the canopies come down far enough to run in light rain without a weather shield.
