Reviews for BOB Ironman stroller
Love suspension but really difficult to steer

We bought this model because my husband trains for marathons, but I only jog and I find it really difficult to steer around curvy sidewalks. I think it is an excellent stroller, but I wish it were easier to use on my neighborhood sidewalks!
Comments from The Staff:
There is certainly some truth to that. One thing to try is to use the tighter setting on the shocks, as that will help in pushing down on the handlebar to steer. Swivel wheel strollers are much better for this, but with someone training for a marathon, that's not a good option. Thanks for the feedback.

Running Stroller

We love this jogger. Only complaint is that because the front wheel doesn't move, it's hard to navigate in curvy terrain. Other than that, it has great comfort and height, and my daughter is always so comfortable...love the large sun shade. The drink holder is a must.

Great item

Our Ironman was worth the cost. Construction is solid, operation is smooth, our kid loves the ride. We live in Europe and it handles the cobblestones and rough urban streets well. Ran the 20k of Bruxelles with it, no problems, great jogger.
Only comments are the plastic/rubber protective caps on the quick release levers and knee guards tend to pop off when folding it up. A little glue would fix that; I have not gotten around to it yet.
Overall, we love it.

Great Jogging Stroller

My husband and I are very pleased with the BOB Ironman jogger so far. It was very easy to assemble. On our first run, we noticed that the stroller was tracking to the right, which made it a little cumbersome to steer. We followed the clear and easy instructions provided to correct this problem, and since then have had no problems. We have used it on primarily paved pathways and it provides a very smooth ride for our son, who seems comfortable and happy in the stroller. The handlebar is ergonomic for both my husband (who is 6 feet) and myself (5 feet 7 inches), and we really appreciate the light aluminum frame on those up hills. The storage underneath is easy to access, and the canopy provides great sun protection. The peek window lets us watch our son as we run. We have not used it long enough to comment on durability. Overall we are very happy with the BOB Ironman.

I have the BOB Ironman jogging stroller and love it. My daughter is 6 months old and I have been running with her in this stroller since she was 8 weeks old. The non-swivel wheel is a must for runners. I tested out the rotating wheel and it tracks poorly for runners. The stroller provides a very smooth ride and handles potholes, frost heaves and debris like they don't exist. I felt very comfortable jogging with my daughter at only 8 weeks. I also purchased the snuggly seat (not sure what it is called)and that helped secure Sophie in her seat for a more smooth ride. The sun canopy is amazing. The stroller is easy to push and works well on cross country trails. It also works nicely as a day to day stroller for shopping etc. It is a little large and hard to manuever in small places. However, it folds like a dream. I can fold it with one hand and it is light! The brakes are a little lacking as they barely slow the stroller down. The only other downside to this is the cup holder. It is extra and only holds larger bottles. It does not hold soda cans, coffee cups or smaller bottles. It only holds large water bottles well. Overall I love this stroller and it works for our needs. I run 5 days a weeks (3-6 miles)and I would recommend this to anyone.

We absolutely love this jogging stroller. It has a great smooth ride, large sun canopy and plenty of storage for everything you need on the road. This is not a stroll about town stroller but great for actual running. Easy to put together and use. We just bought another one for our weekend house!

Bob Ironman stroller

my daughter, a fitness instructor, her husband and their 3 month old son absolutely love their daily run with the Bob stroller and car seat adapter... I initially did not purchase the adapter for them... and the stroller was sitting waiting for our grandson to grow to the appropriate size to ride in it.. the adapter was well worth the additional cost.. their traditional stroller is now packed away and the Bob is used for all outside adventures

Great stroller

I love this stroller! It is relatively lightweight, the shock absorbers work well, and the canopy really covers my son when he's in it. It only gets 4 stars instead of 5 because the handlebars don't adjust to accomodate a shorter person. Otherwise, we love it!

it's the only jogging stroller i know, but the ease of assembly and use allows me to use it daily- and the infant seat adapter is a godsend for longer runs, so my daughter can sleep comfortably!. it has all the storage i could want, and pushing it almost feels like there's nothing there!
