Reviews for Baby Jogger City Series Double stroller
Worth every penny

I love everything about this stroller. It was a major purchase for us, but I am so glad I didn't settle for a cheaper brand.
My 6'3" husband loves the adjustable handlebar. I haven't yet encountered a door it doesn't fit through, and the sunshade... ah, the sunshade. In the picture it looks like it might be too tight on the kids' heads, but even my very tall 3 year old has plenty of room in there. More importantly, the shade is so beautifully adjustable that I can actually pull it all the way forward to cover their entire upper bodies in case I'm walking straight into the sun, which can be searing hot here in S. Texas.
To recline the seat takes only one quick motion--though sitting it back up straight takes 2 hands. The swivel wheel feature is wonderful. There is even a switch for fixing the front wheels straight in case you want to run (which I don't). This thing is easier to push with 2 kids than my last one was with 1 kid. Finally, I cannot believe how easy it is to fold. You just grab the handles on the seats and heave it upward. It folds flat and fits in the back of my van where even my old single Graco did not fit. Why wouldn't every stroller use these features? I doubt there is a better double stroller out there. It is pricey, but SO worth the money.

Love this Stroller!!

I just got this stroller and love it! It was the easiest baby item I've ever assembled. Aside from all the wonderful features that everyone else has already mentioned, other features include straps that can't get tangled! It seems like such a small thing, but these straps have a little swivel function that enables you to keep them lying flat and keep the kids strapped in safely. Also, I live in a rowhouse in Baltimore and this stroller actually fits through my front door! Amazing!

Awesome Jogger!

I bought this stroller primarily for jogging with my 7 mo old twins. I have the McClaren double stroller for everyday use in the city but wanted something I could use in the country/park on weekends. I absolutely love this jogger..I ran 6 miles my first jaunt out and another 4 the next day. Excellent ride, easy gliding without worry due to the safety strap. Love the floating canopies with sun roofs - provides excellent coverage. The new handlebar material is much more durable than the older 2006 models...still hits you in the shins when you fold it..kind of a bother. I would recommend this stroller to anyone who wants to casually stroll or rack on serious jogging miles. I am thinking of replacing my McClaren double for this one for everyday use in the city..that will eliminate transporting it! I can't believe I didn't buy this earlier!!!

I love my new City Series double stroller. Baby Jogger has really out done themselves with the new extended canopy! I can get the sun I want without jeopardizing my girls' sensitive skin. Well done!

new & improved now shipping

Baby Jogger has now addressed the durability of the handlebar, and the lack of a latch. New strollers now shipping have a more durable handle and a latch to keep the stroller closed once it is folded. Yeah to BJ for listening to complaints and fixing the few problems with this great stroller! I think the MBUD is in for some real competition!

Great do-it-all stroller

I have a 3 yo and a 1 yo and they both fit comfortably and there is no tilt because of weight difference. I take this stroller everywhere: park, mall, neighborhood, on the train, beach, ect. Pros: Great turning ability and radius. I can easily manuever with one hand. Because of the adjustable handlebar, my husband 6 ft, myself 5 ft, and my son 3 ft (when he wants to walk and "help push the stroller") can all use the handle bar with ease and comfort. Durable. I use the stroller almost everyday for something and it is in and out of the van and it holds up to the use quite well. Pinch guards: the visors have pinch guards that keep my exploring 1yo's fingers from being caught and pinched.
Cons: the stroller is heavy to pick up and load in the van, however, I have found that it is easier than the other double stroller I have owned because it is less awkward. VERY easy to close, but doesn't stay closed when lifting. If it had a latch though, I would probably not use it, because when I take it out, it opens right up without any part but the wheels touching the ground. Pricey: I shopped for months and debated back and forth about buying such an expensive stroller. Looking back, I would have bought it earlier and not bought the cheaper one that was so much harder to push.
Overall this is an outstanding stroller that meets my needs and functions extremely well as well as looks sharp. I would definately buy this stroller again and recommend it to my friends!

Baby Jogger All-Terrain Stroller

I ordered this stroller to replace my Phil & Ted's because I wanted my girls to both be able to recline. The good features of the stroller are: individually reclining seats; individually adjustable canopies; extremely easy folding (it literally folds in the middle); stability; smooth ride; large enough seat to easily fit my 38-pound 2 1/2 year old. There are a couple of negatives - no cupholders; the basket is smallish and difficult to reach if the seats are reclined; and the stroller hits you in the knees when you fold it. The fabric is washable (a hint: put the cover back on while it's still wet - it's easier to stretch over the frame). The stroller is large, so if you've got a small trunk you might consider a different model; it's also rather heavy and bulky, so lifting it in and out of a car or SUV could be a challenge. I drive a Pacifica and it takes up a good amount of the back with my 3rd row of seats folded. The good features definitely outweigh the bad, and I would buy this stroller again.

Great Stroller

This stroller is wonderful! The best feature is the two wheels in front that swivel and make turning easy. I use it to walk almost every day and love the fact that my 5 year old son rides in it as well as my 18 month old daughter. They both have their own sun shades and individual recline.

Great Stroller

We have the 2006 model. I understand that the 2007 model has floating canopies (this would be good for my infant when he is lying down), and easier recline (2006 version is manageable). I love this stroller - it is very easy to manouever, even with one hand. I can get it through every doorway, and it fits in my small car better than many others I tried. It has even managed with the snowy sidewalks this winter. The main improvement I would like is a larger and easier to use basket - I can only fit a couple of small bags of groceries, and it is very awkward to access. We end up hanging bags from the handlebar. We also bought the rain cover, but this is very awkward to put on since you have to make a velcro strap join up under the stroller - not easy when you're trying to rush to stay dry.
