Reviews for Micralite TORO stroller
The more I use, the more I like!

My son is 9 months old now. I must admit the parts were a bit stiff at the beginning, for example, not easy to take the carseat out from it until regular usage. But once you get used to it, it is very easy to use. Not the lightest weight, but the lightest weight stroller will not offer all the options it has. Love the 3 recline positions, the wheels are so easy to push, the cart itself is so strong and durable. Mine is an orange one, the color is so sharp and beautiful, don't have fade color problem. The only not so good thing is the storage basket below is a bit small and shallow, unable to insert a handbag but thank you to the handle which you can hook the handbag onto it, which a Bugaboo cannot do.
The original footmuff that comes with the stroller is not quite warm. There is a warmer version but not available in United States and I purchased it from ebay England

my canopy would not lay open and the raincover ripped after a few times, but scandinavian child's excellent customer service sent me a new attachment and cover without any hassles.
i wish the bumper bar weren't set so high, but otherwise, we've been pretty happy with this stroller.

High points: stroller folds easily for storage, reclines flat to help baby sleep; boot is warm; mostly quality construction; looks good. Low points: hard to open with one hand; front wheels hang up on large sidewalk cracks; no window in canopy; expensive.

LOVE My Micralite Toro!

I have been using our Toro for several months now and walk miles daily on the NYC streets. Before buying I did the typical exhaustive, best-for-my baby parent search. I am very pleased with my choice. Compared to others: Toro is lighter, has pneumatic rear wheels, drives great, actually folds w/o having to remove anything, reclines FLAT so can be used from birth (in my opinion) with a head support and no extra bassinett, love the handlebar as you can drive one handed but also hang thing occasionally, cool weather cover. It also comes with an all weather foot muff which is great for spring/fall, though you need a heavier Bundle Me type for winter weather.
Some small cons: rain cover is great for cold, but (like Maclaren covers) doesn't go over canopy); basket is a bit small; can't reverse baby to look at you (though I have never wanted to do this after a few months anyway so doesn't bother me). Although it is super easy to fold, it is still a bit too heavy to do this with one hand while holding baby in the other, but I can't imagine any real jogger can do that.
Finally, as to your feet hitting tires. It does take a day or two to get your stride. Doesn't happen for me at 5'2, but does for my 6'0 husband. We just carry a tiny allen wrench on the stroller and reverse so handle faces out when he drives. This takes about 10 seconds and my 6 year old can do it.
Overall, I could not be happier with my choice!

There are a lot of things I love about this stroller. Even though it is light weight the construction is very solid. The fold and unfold is great. My only negative is that the rear wheels are relatively close together and if you are a long strider, you may find yourself kicking the tires.
