OUTSTANDING

6 kids and 5 years later the only thing now is the handle gripper is tearing. It still works and looks GREAT. The 8yr old still rides (when available),he is a little too tall for it, but he curls up and rests well. Goes everywhere from amusement parks, mall, off roading! The ride is wonderful. Seats sit deep enough, lay back, tall and are comfy. Steers great, kids love to push, handle adjusts. Folds easy, light to push. I have had so many double stroller and only recommend this one! I would buy it over again and again! My husband is a "geek" and did research and compared it to ALL the other double's, he picked a winner! The foot rest being hard plastic is great for clean ups,and long term wear and tear. You can get great sales on this stroller, 5 years ago it cost $500.+. It is worth the investment, at least to me, I could have saved many of thousands by now. It fits in door ways & down isles. People comment that this is the "Cadillac" of strollers and I happen to AGREE!

AMAZING BUT NOT FOR US IN THE END

We loved our Baby Jogger City single (still do) for our two year old, so when baby #2 came we were pretty set on buying the double version. I was obsessed with the canopies on Baby Jogger strollers and the air filled tires that made pushing it so easy. HOWEVER, I didn't realize that a double stroller is really so much heavier than a single that even the air filled tires make it difficult to push. That would be fine, except that because the stroller is so heavy as a result of these tires and a bulkier frame to support them, it's doubly hard to push the moment your terrain isn't entirely flat. We used ours for walks on some grass but mostly streets and sidewalks in a suburban area. It was so heavy that the idea of lifting it into my car and maneuvering it around a mall was painful (even though I'm sure it could have fit through many doorways and aisles, it just felt too big and heavy to deal with on my own). I would have had to buy a second stroller. Therefore, I returned the stroller and instead purchased the City Mini double, which suits our needs much more. This way, I still have a stroller that performs decently for long walks on even roads--while the air tires were most likely easier over bumps, this stroller weighs significantly less, which is overall an easier push for me--and something I feel comfortable taking in and out of my car, through the airport with ease, storing in my house, etc. If you really need an off road jogger, I would get something more intense from the BJ line, or if you have no problem buying two great strollers (one for the road, one for the car), all power to you. But for us, buying two nice ones (I just can't buy strollers that don't have some of the features the more expensive ones have) wasn't really an option. All that said, if you do feel this is the right stroller for you, it still pushes well, is great quality, has incredible sun canopies that function individually (unlike the Mountain Buggy--I have no idea how people could stand a stroller without this!), and has lots of pockets and an adjustable handlebar that make it a really nice stroller.

GREAT!

I am so happy I went with this stroller! I was looking for a double big enough for my 2 boys-8 months and 6 years(I know there is a big difference there!) My six year old has autism and sometimes its hard to push the baby and control him running around, so I needed a stroller big enough for both. I researched the phil and teds and bob duallie, and am so happy I went with this one. The fact that it can fit through standard size doors is a great plus. It pushes great, even with 2 different sized kids, and best of all it is big enough for both of the kids. I know most peoples 6 year olds wont be riding in it, but it is big enough to fit them comfortably. The canopies are great, the fold is easy, and for a double stroller I felt it was very compact. I debated between this and the Elite, and am very happy I went with the Classic. All in all, a great stroller!

GREAT STROLLER- espc at the 2008 closeout price

Just got it for our 19 month old and newborn- we have the mini single but wanted a double that would be good for walks to the park and last when our toddler gets taller (he fit too snuggly in the mini double for long term use, but has plenty of room in the mini single fyi). This stroller is bigger than the mini but has MUCH taller seats and handles better outdoors. Love the FLAT recline and very padded seats. Also, the harness converts to a 3-point which is great for our toddler who is always leaning forward and does not need to be strapped back like a baby. Canopy is fab as bj usual, love that this stroller is NOT as loooong as the bob duallie. Folds much easier too. Adjustable handlebar is great since i am 5'3" and hubby is 6'1". FYI the sunshine kids caddy (fits right before handlebar above canopy on one side) fits perfect on this for sippies, phone, and keys etc....BJ's customer service is great too, had some issues with mini that were resolved, and my classic double came with a broken front wheel (big bummer) and they are sending out a new one. Only thing i'd change about this stroller is to make it with the vented recline (mesh back) like the mini and elite has- makes it easier to see reclined baby thru. Get the mini double if planning to use mostly inside (mall), it's cute but not functional for our long walks outside.

The best double out there!

How do I love my BJCCD? Let me count the ways. Great quality. Super stable. HUGE separate canopies. Separation between the seats so my toddler does not bother my newborn. Great storage basket and pockets. The seats are super tall (great for my tall toddler) and can sit completely upright or totally reclined (most doubles have seats that do not go completely upright). Steers easily. One step-fold. Handsome stroller. Plush and rugged at the same time. I had bought another double and am so happy I sold it and bought this one. It is my favorite stroller out of my fleet of strollers (Valco, Maclaren). It is my toddler's favorite as well. Their customer service is excellent to boot. You cannot go wrong with this double stroller! Get the weather shield and the parent console and you will be all set!

Best for Tall kids

Way more headroom than the Bob (at least 8 inches), so if you have tall children (my 3 yr old was too tall for the Bob -- the canopy hit her head) and/or plan to use it for a long time, get this one. I have it in single and double and have used it for years. It is durable, washable, narrow and holds 100lbs total (not 50 per seat as some sites say). Absolutely no complaints -- also more comfy/less reclined for the child than the Bob -- way better value. 4 wheels make it more stable going down steps too.

Winner!

I did a huge amount of research before diving into buying this stroller. We have a fabulous single, but when baby #2 arrived our high-end, super-fancy, mucho-expensive single just wasn't practical anymore. I have a small eco-friendly car (you know the one) and I'm not a she-woman. So, I needed something relatively compact, easy to fold/lift, rated for a newborn and a toddler and able to go all-terrain for exercise, but comfortable enough for extended cruising.
I can tell you that on the first day, after a 5-hour stretch of power walking, visits to two parks and lunch both kiddies were happy and so was I.
This one passed the test of urban and off-road cruising, walking, running, getting in and out of standard doorways (not the easiest, but doable). We all give it a big 5-star rating!
Best of all, I can get it in and out of the trunk in a hurry and get it opened and closed like a flash...much easier than that Dutch wonder for which we paid the equivalent of some people's monthly rent.
I definitely recommend it!

I love this stroller

I took this stroller to Disney World and I absolutely loved it. Both my 3 year old son and my 6 month old baby were very comfortable. It is very easy to push and steer. It folds up very easily. The storage was fine. If you need more space for big bags, I got a Mommy Hook that lets you hang bags in the back of the stroller and it worked great. The only complaint is that the stroller is a little on the heavy side when folded. But it is not so heavy compared to other strollers.

I love this stroller!! It folds easily and quickly, it fits through doorways and works great for running. I prefer it over my single jogger for running any day! My only complaint is that I wish it somehow locked into folding position for travel.
