Lived for a week with this stroller through many different bus trips and pushing it all day in the parks, it worked well and is the best stroller I have used yet.

Great stoller, survived the Mouse

After a couple of months of use, including a trip to Disney World, we have nothing but good things to say about the City Mini. The stroller's size and maneuverability handled the crowds, walking surfaces and transportation system at Disney World with ease. The wonderful canopies protected our infant and toddler from the Florida sun when they needed a break; and, there is plenty of storage space for sticking all the mouse ears and stuff we managed to acquire at the parks. For those with unfolding problems, look for the strap marked "storage strap" under the stroller to secure it in the closed position. I'm not sure why BJ neglected to document this in the manual.

Amazing Stroller, Even for Older Kids
Reviewer: Lindsay , Los Angeles, CA
Date: July 12, 2008
I have used a variety of strollers for my two sons, now 4 years and 2 1/2 years old. I very recently purchased the Baby Jogger City Mini for my daily/casual use in Los Angeles (shopping, walking to the park, etc. -- no jogging or off-roading). I find this stroller really fits the bill. It easily collapses to fold and fits into the trunk of my sedan. It fits through any door, period, which is very convenient when you're trying to navigate a crowd of people. Although I sympathize somewhat with reviews that complain about the height allowance, I have two tall, older children who fit just fine. My four year old may be a little snug, but then again, he's a four year old in a stroller. Great investment; I wish I had bought this stroller when my second was a newborn.

Good, but not for taller kids

The Baby Jogger City Mini Double stroller got great ratings all over the place (I read at least 50 reviews before buying). I got the stroller last week and have used it a few times. I have a 3 month old and an 18 month old.
PROS:
The stroller is great for the newborn, the seats recline all the way back so she can nap while we're out and about.
The stroller rides VERY smoothly and is easy to steer.
The wheel brake is great. When I put the brake on and tried to push the stroller, it didn't budge. This is a great feature if you live somewhere with hills (we live in flat FL so it doesn't matter).
The seats are more partitioned than other double strollers I've seen so there will be less fighting amongst siblings.
CONS:
My 18 month old is tall for his age (He's 33" tall) and BARELY has any room to grow. I like the stroller so I plan on keeping it but I doubt he will fit in it in another year since he only has maybe 3 or 4" to grow.
There is no cup holder so I will need to buy one somewhere to attach to the handle.
The basket for storage isn't that large so I wouldn't recommend taking it on a huge shopping spree expecting to have a lot of storage.
The separate sun shades were a must when I was shopping for the stroller. I'm not sure if it's me or the stroller but the when I try to put one canopy all the way down (to completely block the sun from the newborn), the other side has to go down at least halfway so my tall 18 month old can't see out.
I would not recommend the belly bar accessory since it sits very high and is more shoulder level. My son looks like he's going on a roller coaster when he holds onto the bar since it's so high. He does look cute though and enjoys holding onto it.
Overall, the stroller is awesome. It looks nice, rides smoothly and is great for two kids. I would just caution anybody with larger/taller kids that there isn't a lot of room to grow. That being said, I like it enough to keep it until my son grows out of it so I guess that's something.

Great Double Stroller
Reviewer: Anonymous , Toronto, Ontario

This is a great lightweight stroller that pushes easily and folds without any effort. Both my infant and my 2 1/2 year old seem comfortable in the stroller. The canopies are fantastic, the stroller fits through most doorways, and it folds easily and compactly. I agree with some of the previous reviewers that the wheels seem somewhat wobbily and the ride isn't quite as smooth as I would have expected. The basket is also a little hard to access...Some of the previous reviewers mentioned that the stroller does not lock when folded. It actually does but it is not intuitive and I had to contact Baby Jogger to figure out how to do it. There is a velcro latch under the seat of the stroller that wraps around the bars and keeps it shut. It works well but for some reason is not shown in the instruction manual. It would be nice if the stroller was carseat compatible but I haven't really needed this feature. Overall, I think this is a good basic stroller and I am quite happy with it.

I Love It!!

This is one of the best strollers out there. It can get into any door. Except bedroom doors. It is easy to push anywhere you are. We recently took it to Sea World and it was a life saver. It steers really well. The bottom line is that I would recommend it to anyone. My husband and I love it. We have a mini van and it fits perfect standing behind the seats. Thanks for making a Wonderful Stroller.

I really like this stroller!

There's no perfect double stroller out there but this is as close to perfect as I'm likely to find. Pros: fantastic canopy coverage (great in FLA.), amazing maneuverability, a true one-handed push even with a significant weight difference in your riders, easy to fold, decent basket size, smooth ride (compared to my Graco tandem), really light for a double, and it's just a pretty stroller (I got the green/grey).
Cons: no parent tray or cupholder, have to buy the belly bar as an accessory, only really able to reach basket from sides of stroller, stroller doesn't lock when closed, handle isn't adjustable, the headroom is a little less than I'd like and my son figured out how to unsnap himself very easily.
That being said, my kids are on the short side so the headroom issues that are a problem for other parents aren't as big a deal for me. Also, when I fold it closed I lock the brake and stand the stroller up in the back of my van and lift it in and out by the folding handles so I don't have a real problem with it unfolding. I have stroller clips to attach my diaper bag to the handle so I only use the basket for small items, jackets, etc. So far the kids aren't needing the belly bar and I'll just buy a clip-on cupholder at some point.

Nice but small

I was very excited to receive this stroller. It was so easy to put together, very light, but extremely well made. HOWEVER, when I read the specifications, it said the maximum weight capacity per seat was 35 pounds. (The website makes no mention of this.) I bought the stroller to accommodate our 11 month old and 2 1/2 year old, who is 39 inches tall and 35 pounds. I called baby jogger and they told me that weight was a european safety specification, but for US safety specifications, 50lbs per seat was OK. Having gotten over that hurdle, I put my 2 1/2 year old in and she was way to tall for it (39 inches). Her head more than touched the canopy and she complained that everything was too narrow. I really liked the stroller and was pretty sad to have to send it back. (I recommend getting the return shipping insurance, I didn't and had to pay more to send it back.)
If there was plenty of headroom then I would have given this stroller 5 stars. I think it's good for taking twins around, but not for older/younger siblings, unless they are quite small.
I ended up with the baby jogger classic city stroller, which has plenty of headroom for my oldest to grow into. It's heavier, but really really nice.
