Reviews for Baby Jogger City Mini Double stroller
The good and the bad

This stroller is great for two kids if you have a small trunk area. We bought it to fit in our Prius; which it did, beautifully. The seats wipe off really easily, and the one step fold is really a snap. BUT it does not steer easily at all. It's also impossible to access the storage area below the seats. I'm checking out the City classic and probably swapping mine just because of those two issues.

great stroller - has its pros & cons like anything...

Great double stroller! I have a taller 2 year old and a 9 month old. Both fit well in the stroller and are comfortable. My daughter (the two year old) probably won't fit as well in about a year or so but that will be fine. Pros: steers well (super easy!), fits through doors, not too big and bulky like most double strollers, and folds up super easy, fits into my trunk (I have a 2005 honda accord) with room to spare, very efficient to use for me and comfortable for the kids. I'm on my own with the two kids alot during the day and it's easy for me to handle on my own (last double stroller I owned, my husband had to fold and store it away since it was too heavy for me!). Cons: my daughter and son like to look at each other and play even while riding in a stroller but the design of this stroller doesn't allow them to do that (not a big deal for me but if you are looking for that riding/sitting together feel, you won't get that here). Not enough storage on the bottom of the stroller and not easy to get to. When I have to put my diaper bag down there, i feel like i am forcing it through and it's hard to get anything out of there once it is packed away. No cupholder or such for the parent (again, not a big deal for me but if you are looking for that the city mini accessories/add ons are expensive. You can always find options elsewhere like Babies R Us sells stroller clasps that you can add a cupholder, and such, to.). Seats recline (perfect for naps!). overall, I love this stroller! I bought mine for $320 - worth it!!!!! I researched high and low for a good double stroller. I didn't want to spend $500 or more on a stroller but the $200 or less stroller just weren't cutting it for me...

Great for Urban Parents

We have been very happy with the Baby Jogger City Mini.
We do not actually use it for jogging, but it probably logs at least 2-3 miles per day on Chicago sidewalks throughout the year.
It has performed well but does show expected signs of wear after one year. Easy to push and our one year old and tall two-year old are both comfortable in it.
This stroller has "just" made it through store and restaurant doorways in the city that other strollers would not pass. Sometimes, 1/2 or 1/4 inch made the difference of easily passing versus not making it inside.
The only reason we don't give it 5 stars is the lower storage is difficult to access, difficult to resnap, and can't carry much. Over time with normal use, it has been incorrectly re-snapped and none of us remember how to correctly attach it. The result is that it hangs a little too low and the fabric wore a couple small holes from rubbing against the pavement. There are a couple storage slots behind each child, and, when the seats are not reclined, things can be placed in a makeshift bag that forms behind the child's head.
We are 5'10" and 6' tall and find the height of the unadjustable handlebar adequate for long walks, but not ideal.

Lived for a week with this stroller through many different bus trips and pushing it all day in the parks, it worked well and is the best stroller I have used yet.

Great stoller, survived the Mouse

After a couple of months of use, including a trip to Disney World, we have nothing but good things to say about the City Mini. The stroller's size and maneuverability handled the crowds, walking surfaces and transportation system at Disney World with ease. The wonderful canopies protected our infant and toddler from the Florida sun when they needed a break; and, there is plenty of storage space for sticking all the mouse ears and stuff we managed to acquire at the parks. For those with unfolding problems, look for the strap marked "storage strap" under the stroller to secure it in the closed position. I'm not sure why BJ neglected to document this in the manual.

Amazing Stroller, Even for Older Kids
Reviewer: Lindsay , Los Angeles, CA

I have used a variety of strollers for my two sons, now 4 years and 2 1/2 years old. I very recently purchased the Baby Jogger City Mini for my daily/casual use in Los Angeles (shopping, walking to the park, etc. -- no jogging or off-roading). I find this stroller really fits the bill. It easily collapses to fold and fits into the trunk of my sedan. It fits through any door, period, which is very convenient when you're trying to navigate a crowd of people. Although I sympathize somewhat with reviews that complain about the height allowance, I have two tall, older children who fit just fine. My four year old may be a little snug, but then again, he's a four year old in a stroller. Great investment; I wish I had bought this stroller when my second was a newborn.

Good, but not for taller kids

The Baby Jogger City Mini Double stroller got great ratings all over the place (I read at least 50 reviews before buying). I got the stroller last week and have used it a few times. I have a 3 month old and an 18 month old.
PROS:
The stroller is great for the newborn, the seats recline all the way back so she can nap while we're out and about.
The stroller rides VERY smoothly and is easy to steer.
The wheel brake is great. When I put the brake on and tried to push the stroller, it didn't budge. This is a great feature if you live somewhere with hills (we live in flat FL so it doesn't matter).
The seats are more partitioned than other double strollers I've seen so there will be less fighting amongst siblings.
CONS:
My 18 month old is tall for his age (He's 33" tall) and BARELY has any room to grow. I like the stroller so I plan on keeping it but I doubt he will fit in it in another year since he only has maybe 3 or 4" to grow.
There is no cup holder so I will need to buy one somewhere to attach to the handle.
The basket for storage isn't that large so I wouldn't recommend taking it on a huge shopping spree expecting to have a lot of storage.
The separate sun shades were a must when I was shopping for the stroller. I'm not sure if it's me or the stroller but the when I try to put one canopy all the way down (to completely block the sun from the newborn), the other side has to go down at least halfway so my tall 18 month old can't see out.
I would not recommend the belly bar accessory since it sits very high and is more shoulder level. My son looks like he's going on a roller coaster when he holds onto the bar since it's so high. He does look cute though and enjoys holding onto it.
Overall, the stroller is awesome. It looks nice, rides smoothly and is great for two kids. I would just caution anybody with larger/taller kids that there isn't a lot of room to grow. That being said, I like it enough to keep it until my son grows out of it so I guess that's something.

Great Double Stroller
Reviewer: Anonymous , Toronto, Ontario

This is a great lightweight stroller that pushes easily and folds without any effort. Both my infant and my 2 1/2 year old seem comfortable in the stroller. The canopies are fantastic, the stroller fits through most doorways, and it folds easily and compactly. I agree with some of the previous reviewers that the wheels seem somewhat wobbily and the ride isn't quite as smooth as I would have expected. The basket is also a little hard to access...Some of the previous reviewers mentioned that the stroller does not lock when folded. It actually does but it is not intuitive and I had to contact Baby Jogger to figure out how to do it. There is a velcro latch under the seat of the stroller that wraps around the bars and keeps it shut. It works well but for some reason is not shown in the instruction manual. It would be nice if the stroller was carseat compatible but I haven't really needed this feature. Overall, I think this is a good basic stroller and I am quite happy with it.
