The quest for the perfect stroller....

I'm really impressed by the service and delivery time of JoggingStroller.com and I'd definitely give them 5 stars... but the Valco only deserves 4 at this point. Pros: smooth ride, not too heavy, nice styling, and lots of "extras" included (bootcover, raincover etc.). Cons: when I initially set up the stroller, every time I collapsed it, the canopy came off (as another reviewer noted). However, unlike that reviewer, this was almost a dealbreaker for me (at $300 a stroller better function properly!). I called Valco and their moderately helpful customer service agent explained that you have to align the canopy a specific way and that it really requires two people to attach it the first time . The canopy has not come fully off since this fix (although it still slides a little). This (mostly fixable issue) along with a not-so-padded seat and challenging fold keep me from LOVING this stroller. Having said all this, I plan on keeping this stroller for now since it seems to meet almost all my other criteria in the quest for the PERFECT stroller for walks, shopping and travel. My recommendation: call Valco to get tips on canopy attachment and hopefully they will change this design flaw in time!

Best of bunch but still...

Got this stroller with my 4th baby - it's our 6th stroller, so I've got some experience! This is my favorite so far - way better than Peg Perego P3 and Graco MetroLite models we've had. LOVE the ride and steering - solid and well-made, smooth, easy to manuever, not too heavy or wide. Great with my 2-yr old or with the infant bucket seat. Two relatively minor but annoying problems... first and worst, the hitch used to keep the stroller collapsed is VERY hard to disengage even with both hands, and impossible to do one-handed (like when you're holding a child when getting off a plane). And second, collapsing isn't totally smooth - must use 2 hands, the canopy often slides off its bracket and must be reattached, and if the front wheel isn't exactly aligned properly the stroller won't collapse completely. If you're trying to wrangle kids while dealing with setting up or collapsing the stroller, these minor issues can be problematic. But that said, I'd still buy this stroller again!

I already own the Valco Trimode Twin stroller and I am in love with it but wanted something a little more light weight for errands with the kids and was thrilled when I heard Valco was coming out with a new lighter stroller! I ordered it right away and it is fantastic. It is easy to manuever, provides great shade from the summer sun, has an enormous basket for all my shopping and my kids love it! Great product!
