Our Review of the phil&teds UV sunny days mesh cover - sport/classic
Sunny days? No worries! The phil&teds UV sunny days mesh cover protects passengers riding in the phil&teds sport buggy or phil&teds classic buggy from bugs, debris, and it filters up to 81% of UVA/UVB rays. The UV sunny days mesh cover is made of a specially treated mesh material that offers sun and bug protection while remaining ventilated enough to let breezes flow freely through the seat.
If you are using a phil&teds stroller with either the sport doubles kit or classic doubles kit, you will need the double mesh cover.
Add the phil&teds stormy weather cover for the sport and classic to complete your stroller's weather protection. For cold days, use the phil&teds snuggle & snooze sleeping bag to keep baby's toes super toasty. Complete the cozy collection with the phil&teds woolly & warm seat liner.
Note: There are two different versions of the single cover for the sport buggy: version 1 and version 2. All sport buggies sold on shopphilandteds.com are version 2, so go with that version if you just got yourself a brand new sport. The double cover works with both version 1 and version 2 sport buggies.
If you happen to own a version 1 sport buggy, be sure to choose the version 1 of the cover. How can you tell the difference? First check the tether strap of your sport - it should say version 2. If your tether doesn't say this, you can check to see if your stroller uses the following design elements, which indicates your sport is version 1.
- The parcel tray uses mesh around the frame of the stroller instead of fabric
- You don't see toggles down the long sides of the back flap to attach to the main sling
- You don't see elastic hooks sewn into the main fabric sling
- Your sport doesn't use an auto fold lock
