I took all the wheels off and could fit the stroller and only 1!!! wheel in the bag. I'm planning to fly with it and want to put all the wheels in the bag since they treat check-in lugagge horribly. But that's impossible. Maybe they sent me the wrong bag (different model, smaller??). I'm extremely upset since I paid over hundred $$$

Thank you for your comments. I understand your frustation, but I assure you the stroller, double kit and wheels all fit into the stroller travel bag. The bag is purposely designed to ensure a snug fit to keep the stroller protected. Click on the Additional Info tab on the product page and download the instructions we've created to help guide you through packing the stroller. I would suggest a few practice packs before heading to the airport, but once you get it down it's a piece of cake. We are always here to help answer any further questions. Just give us a call at 800-890-9424.

Could have ended in divorce!

I spent an hour trying to fit our e3 classic stroller into the travel bag! Impossible. My husband and I nearly fell out as he was convinced I had bought the wrong bag. Reading the instructions (downloaded as not provided) failed to provide any further insight. The bag just seemed to small! The reference to the position of the handle bar proves crucial ... but middle position, what middle position? On the e3 classic the handle bar is either high or low ... eventually we figured out that we needed to push the handle bar in as far as it would go (i.e. not actually clicked in to place) ... this gave us the extra 1/2 inch we needed to fit the pram. Once in, it is fantastic. Perservere! Just very grateful we did a practice run before travelling, otherwise my husband and I would probably have divorced over it!!!

This bag will make you sweat...

This travel bag is great, once the stroller is actually in there! I traveled from Ft Lauderdale to Salt Lake City with two small children and let me tell you, I will never again try to assemble this by myself at the airport with my children! It takes a little getting used to how the stroller actually gets in the bag also, because by first look, it seems impossible. But, all in all, it was nice that the stroller was protected while we traveled, definitly well worth it, considering how expensive these strollers are!!!

Bags nicely padded and it wheels around nicely BUT It says on the side of the box its east to pack and go just pop the pram in the bag. What it doesn't mention is that you have to dismantal it first. Take all wheels off, 2nd seat and even the handle, ensure brake is off, cram it all in, then put 2 of the wheels back on. Wouldn't like to have to put it all back together with 2 screaming kids at a airport.
Comments from The Staff:
This travel bag is not the typical travel bag where you collapse your stroller, put it in the bag and go. This bag requires a little more attention, but while it may take a few practice packs to get the stroller to fit perfectly in the bag, once you got it...this bag is a perfect design for travel. The stroller, third wheel and doubles kit can all fit in this bag, but please note it will be a tight fit to ensure your stroller stays protected. Here are some suggestions: First remove the wheels, doubles kit and the grab/bumper bar. Fold the stroller (with the handle on) and place in the bag with the handlebar at the bottom of the bag and the inside of the main seat facing down. Make sure the hubs are outside of the bag (you will attach the wheels once the bag is packed). Place the third wheel on top of the stroller, place the grab/bumper bar around the wheel and place the doubles kit on top of everything and zip. Attach the wheels and you're good to go. I understand this bag is a bit more complex then some other stroller travel bags so please call us at 1-800-887-0218 if you have any other questions. We have contacted the manufacturer and they will have a more detailed manual available soon.

Love this Carry Bag

I think this bag is fabulous. I bought it to use with my Phil Teds E3 and Sport Version and they both have fit perfectly. You do have to take the front wheel off, handle bar and 2nd seat(as with always folding it) but both pieces fit in there fine. The rear wheels stick out to the bag to make it a dream to pull through the airport. I use an umbrella stroller to get through the airport and check my P&T with the luggage. The bag is nicely padded and protects the Stroller great. Also love this website - service and delivery is unbelievably great! Thanks

I have this bag its a great idea but is a big pain in the butt to use but then again what stroller bag isn't .if i had to travel with this bag on a plane I would need some time to get prepared. The good thing is that you don't to lug it around .Having the wheels out is a plus. Wraping the wheels are a bit of the problem and making sure the handle bar is down in order to get it in the bag. But otherwise its no easier than my peg perego bag which is quite heavy to carry around the airport

Has anyone else had trouble fitting the stroller into this case? It seems too small -- my very strong husband and I pulling together could barely yank and pull the darned thing into the travel case. It doesn't help that the case comes with no instructions, and the two sentences of instructions in the stroller manual are virtually no help. I suppose if you need to check the stroller onto an airplane (like we do) this is your only option for this stroller, but they ought to be able to manufacture it with a little bit of wiggle room. Even after all our wrangling, we still couldn't get the zipper closed all the way. I sincerely hope this doesn't mean major trouble once it's checked (visions of ripped zippers and missing/mangled $300 strollers running through my head) -- we'll find out soon.
Just for the record, this is not my first problem with Phil & Ted's products being manufactured too small -- when I first got my Sport stroller the shoulder straps that are supposed to adjust weren't able to because of a manufacturing defect. Regal Lager (the US distributor) quickly sent me a replacement main frame, but again with no instructions. It took me half a day and three phone calls to them to get it done. Maybe there are similar manufacturing errors on the travel bag that makes it too tight?
Would love to know if anyone else has had similar problems...
